I would like to publicly apologize to @polyfrags @mermen, and @malkaviians

I was formerly known as maamool, and was the one who originally posted the callout regarding @polyfrags allegedly making a blog to harass my ex-friend Dani @/lovelyflier. The primary author of that callout doc was Andy @/nighthorrors.

This turned out to be false. Solenne @Polyfrags was innocent. This entire process ended up being a manipulative attempt by white ex-friends to silence @polyfrags, a brown Indigenous person who was just venting about being mistreated and facing racism and other kinds of abuse by them. I’m ashamed for letting myself be used in that way and for not seeing that situation for what it was. I was not involved in this friendship at all. I was used as a meat shield and meant to take the fall for posting the callout.

We four already cleared things up privately, but I wanted to post this here because even though I was used and roped into that callout process by white people (who have now both deleted) I recognize that I was an agent of harm in this situation and want to do right. They didn’t deserve to lose friends over that, the loss of their reputation, online safety, mental health and a safe place to exist and fundraise. I will not participate, in or reblog, a callout ever again because this too often happens to innocent people.

I hope we all can heal from that, especially Solenne. Thank you for allowing me to do the right thing.
