In case you’re wondering, Professors at Columbia are calling the encampment a “Pro-Hamas” encampment, and say that its existence is an active threat to Jewish students and faculty

🇵🇸 dont forget to keep talking about the genocide and violence by "israel" that is still happening in Gaza and Palestine just as much as you are talking about the protests and divestment camps on american university campuses 🇵🇸

Right wing Republican politicians and even some Democrats are frothing at the mouth in outrage over pro-Palestinian student protests. Some are calling for arrest, others for the National Guard to suppress these protests. The central rationale is equating anti-Zionism with antisemitism, a false equivalence intended to shut down the protests.

But where was the outrage on the right over decades of christofascist demonstrations at Planned Parenthood clinics? Why was no one calling for the arrest of the mobs of hateful, screaming zealots who inspired bombings and murder? Why today are LGBTQ event organizers forced to arrange their own security as protection from actual Nazis threatening their existence?

Hate speech is hate speech no matter if the target is black or gay or Jewish or fat or trans. No one of these groups deserves more protection than the others.

Protesting for changes in government policies is NOT hate speech. Policies don’t have feelings. Policies can’t be traumatized. In the USA we have a right to protest peacefully.

Are they finally blowing up Nina and Ava's "friendship"? Finally giving me what I've wanted since the shit began?

It's funny because my protest was totally on Ava's behalf after what Nina did to her and Avery. Now? It's all about wanting Nina to have better.

It would've been nice if Laura bonded with Trina after Spencer " died" so that she could actually see how Trina was doing these past few months. Besides Stella, who has actually helped out Trina, she's been regulated to a sidekick to Joss, and her bond with Ava isn't the same. It's like the show doesn't care about Trina unless she can prop the white women in her orbit. Oops, that's exactly the case and it's painful to watch.

I know I've said this before, but if the show really wanted to give TJ and Molly kids, I would've had them adopt. Like maybe TJ connects with a patient. Perhaps one who is pregnant or already has a child. That person is dying and has no family to take the kid in, or the family they do have is awful and abusive. The patient asks TJ to make sure their kid is safe and that leads TJ to fostering and adopting them so they're safe.

Or maybe he has a patient who is a kid and the only survivor of a car crash that killed their family. The kid won't open up to or listen to anyone but TJ and he feels a connection there and discusses it with Molly.
