i always liked the juxtaposition of soundwave being a very ruthless, yet efficient killer. but incapable of getting out of the gladiatorial tendency to fight really flashy for the crowds.

truth be told, dating wasn’t actually in the realm of consideration during the Great War. he was far too busy, far too stretched thin to waste time in dancing around unnecessary feelings and affections. the ones that he loved, his symbiotes, were enough affection to last. 

but now? now that the war was over and a family of many dwindled to a family of two, it... had been a thought that has touched his processor from time to time.
