hi everyone, big news! the final part of call you mine, miya atsumu x reader, by yours truly tsumusamu will be releasing next tuesday, 8/22. yes, three years later, this story will finally come to an end. no idea if anyone is still around/interested to see it, but it will happen. i hope it will live up to everyone’s expectations! thank you to all who have been waiting for it!

WAIT i just read that post where u said u weren't happy with your writing and omg. just wanted to let u know that I read A LOT on tumblr, and your atsumu is the most well written one I've ever ever seen like ITS PERFECT (I'M BEING SO HONEST RN) I love your atsumu works (all works actually but atsumu just a tad bit more) soo much the way you portray him, his behavior and his emotions in particular... absolutely perfect 🙏🏻 AND THE READER TOO!!! may i ask, but to you is writing a career interest or a passion? i'm just wondering if there is a specific age line where you might stop writing fanfics(?) i hope this makes sense

hiya, writing to me is just a hobby that i've always enjoyed. i've been writing for fun for almost my entire life, and although i don't think there is a specific age where i'll stop, there will probably come a day when i'll be ready to let go and focus on more important aspects of life. i will always enjoy writing, but i'm not trying to make a career out of it and i will just continue until responsibilities gets in the way :)

Hello everyone, I am very sorry for essentially dropping off the face of the earth for over two months. Things have been crazy to say the least, but to sum it up I started uni and am currently swamped with homework and midterms. I have actually written about 2000 words of the next chapter of Call You Mine, so please rest assured that I’m still alive and intend to finish it. Unfortunately, I cannot give a definite date as to when anything will be released, as I’m very busy with just trying to handle my life right now. I hope you have all been well. i’m currently in the middle of taking care of the many, many unanswered asks in my inbox. i apologize for any potential spam that might happen! i’m really sorry for taking so long to get to the messages, by the way. after i clear out my inbox this time around i’ll be sure to answer asks more often!

regarding my fics, i’m currently working a full time job and i hardly have time for anything, including writing. i also start uni in a few weeks so i’ve been preparing for that. however, i currently have a week off from work and will for sure try to find time to write! no promises on WHEN new chapters will be out, but i guarantee that i WILL finish both of my atsumu fics.

i’ve never been a very poetic writer and i’m still not… what i write isn’t tasteful, it’s so raw and choppy and sometimes i feel really insecure that i just don’t have that special way with words? people can make the simplest of scenes sound so elegant and i just can’t do the same. when i try it sounds stupid 💀💀 sorry for this random rant, i’ve just been reading a lot of work on here and ao3 lately and it amazes me how people can craft sentences like that. i can’t even imagine how much time it took to think about and carefully choose every word. meanwhile i literally just type the first thing that comes to mind… i don’t know how and why people can still read what i write and enjoy it. but well, thank you for still supporting me. i’m just trying to work on getting better… i’m feeling really unhappy with my skills at the moment.

hello! i’ve officially gone back and made changes to call you mine pt. 4. if you don’t want to reread, here’s a brief overview of my edits:

reader does not catch atsumu with other girls three times in a row. lol. literally idk what the fuck i was thinking when i wrote that but it’s so cheap and honestly not in character and it never sat right with me on my rereads of the fic but i was too nervous to change it because i didn’t know what to do. hopefully the new version suffices. i’m sorry for the long wait. i just really hated what i wrote lmfao. anyways.

now that i’ve finally cleared myself of that stress i can focus for pt. 5. which, by the way, i’ve decided to NOT include smut. im not comfortable with writing it and as you’ve probably noticed by now, i write and edit my fics according to my own comfort. so yeah. i hope that doesn’t disappoint anyone too much. thank you to everyone who continues to support my work <3

hi everyone! i’m sorry for yet another very long absence. i would just like to say that i’m very very grateful for all of the encouraging messages that i’ve received after all that hate… i’m really sorry that i haven’t gotten the chance to reply to all of them but i am thankful that so many people enjoy my work and continue to support me. as for updates, i am working on it. i can’t say when i will release chapters as i’m awful with schedules and deadlines, but just know that i’m still here and plan to wrap up all my works. thank you very much for your patience. ❤️

all i can say is, i have reasons for why i wrote characters the way i did. i did not have the same understanding of certain characters as i did a whole year ago when i was newer to haikyuu than i do now. part of the reason why i have absolutely no motivation to continue my fics is because i DONT like the way i wrote certain fics. i will be going back and changing them before i continue because it’s just impossible for me to want to keep writing when i’m unsatisfied like this. but i really don’t want to after receiving so many hate asks recently
