It happens sometimes. What’s more important is that you aren’t hurt.”  Eyes widened briefly.  “Wait- you aren’t hurt, are you?”

She shook her head quickly.  “I’m not hurt!  Thank you again for saving me!”  She glanced at the court again, slightly paranoid now of the balls.  “I think I would have been if it wasn’t for you.”

“Oh no!  I should at least introduce myself!  My name is Yachi.  I’m the manager in training for Karasuno.”

Most of his study partners don’t last long.

“I know you do!”  She gave a little laugh.  “Besides, I told you it helps me remember it better too.  And your grades are getting a little better too.”

I’m sorry I have disappeared without any notice...again...but I’m going to really try to get back on here.  My sister, @luckdraw is currently helping me get a new blog up and going as well.  It’s a Ryou Bakura from the Yu-Gi-Oh series.  When I get started on there I will post the link here too.  Thank you guys for keeping me around and being so patient~~

She gave a nod.  “They are, but, even though they fight all the time, they make each other stronger.”  She gave a small laugh remembering Tamaki’s antics well.  “I hope to be a good, useful manager next year.  Even though he’s been trying to get me to transfer for awhile now...”  She looked back at her at Karasuno practicing.  “I’ve gotten very close to Karasuno’s volleyball team.”

                        Not that Eita has all this time to spare, he needs to be getting back to the school soon. He just can’t allow the girl to trudge through such unfavorable weather without any form of protection from the elements. 

A blush crossed her cheeks, his kindness surprising her again.  She slowly pointed at a convenience store a little ways down the street.  “I said I would get water and snacks for the bus ride home...”  She fiddled with the cuff of her jacket.  “I-I can get an umbrella too.”  She glanced over at him as they started walking.  “Th-thank you for your kindness.  M-my name is Hitoka Yachi... What’s yours?”

“I can’t study very well so we’re even.”

She couldn’t help but to nod in agreement and give a small laugh.  “No matter how many times we study together.”  She watched the ball closely and was able to bounce it back a little better then the time before.

“WATCH OUT!!” Gold eyes widened with alarm as they took notice of an errant volleyball, thrown off trajectory by a misplaced blow arc in the direction of the female assistant manager. Throwing caution to the wind, Bokuto relied on his instincts, making a beeline for Yachi in an attempt to drag her out of the way.

A voice made her look up.  Her eyes grew wide as she saw the ball flying towards her.  She couldn’t get herself to move, frozen in place.  Next thing she knew, she had been pulled out of the balls trajectory and against a hard body.  She pulled herself away and looked up at him, recognizing him as Fukurodani’s captain.  “Th-thank you for saving me.  I-I just froze...”

She was found out.  “Th-thank you.”  She started to follow him, staying close so she didn’t lose him on the busy street.  “Sorry that I’being a bother.”  After shaking her head, she gave a smile.  “But, I’m glad I bumped into you!”

              “ Yeah, it’s been a thing you can do for a while now. ” he hummed, a hand running through his hair habitually as he was straightening back up again.             “ It happens to everyone, even I get lost here sometimes, Tokyo is HUGE.” he said, in hopes of making her a little less embarrassed. Getting lost was a pretty normal thing.         “ Course not.” He WAS always nice, after all, so what was helping out a lost acquaintance in the grand scheme of things? “ And what’s better than a surprise? Everyone loves surprises.” Maybe NOT everyone, however, it was still funny for Kuroo either way. So really it was a win win.          As the light started to beep, signalling they could cross, he was moving an arm, signalling the small girl to follow. “ Anywho ~ I, Kuroo Tetsurou master Tokyo Expert, shall direct you to your destination, so, if you’ll please.” He walked slow, to make sure she could keep up and not stray too far from him.

“It’s way bigger than back home.”  She gave him a smile.  “I’m really lucky I ran into you.  I could have ended up wandering around forever!”  She was a little surprised at how easy he was to talk to.

She imagined Tanaka and Nishinoya’s reaction to seeing him and giggled.  “I can think of a couple who might get a little...” she searched for the right words, “fired up at seeing you.”

The large crowd caught her off guard and she tried to stay extra close to him, to not get lost again.  “Really, thank you, Kuroo-san.”  She even noticed he had slowed his pace so she could keep up.  “This is really kind of you.”

Kei watched her with a slight frown settled on his face. He pushed his glasses up on the back of his nose out of a habit he’d probably never get rid off anymore. The box seemed filled with something? He really didn’t want to push it but his usually well hidden curiousity took over while he felt safe enough to let it slide. “Made something? Do you want me to ask what something?”

With one eyebrow higher up he stepped a bit closer really not wanting to intimidate the easily scared girl. After all he kinda liked her. 

His inquiry surprised her.  He usually seemed like he didn’t care about things with the others.  “Y-you don’t have to...  I can show you...”  She slowly pulled the box from behind her and opened it a little.  Inside was a variety of cookies and small cakes.  All different flavors and colors.  Her cheeks started to turn pink.  “I hope everyone will like them...”

I was tossing balls for a team mate.  I came to retrieve it...”
