Looking around the dining hall at the various groups of assembled subjects, Regina could barely stifle her eye roll. Ever since they’d transported back to the Enchanted Forest to escape Pan’s curse, leaving Henry and Emma behind in their realm, Regina had found herself severely lacking in any ability to truly enjoy people and socializing. Not that she had been that tolerant before but still, this was just all too much sometimes. She huffed lightly as she looked toward the Charmings, lip curling just a bit at the woman rubbing her swollen stomach and giving doey eyes to David, who returned them all too willingly while still conversing with Granny and Red. They were really insufferable sometimes. The ever apparent couple who never had to worry about not being truly in love. As if they didn’t have enough on their plate with Zelena, now they had the two idiots and an impending birth on their hands. This whole festive soiree had been Snow’s idea and Regina was even more resistant to it now than she had been when they told her about their plans to announce.
She turned away from them, beginning to walk slowly along the edge of the room, nodding to various people who would acknowledge her as she walked. If she was honest with herself, seeing Snow and Charming with another child only added to the pain of knowing that her son was gone forever. Completely ripped from her with no chance of getting him back, while they got a second chance at it all. She looked back at them, licking her lips as she worked her jaw. No matter how much good she did, she still would never get her happy ending. A loud roar from one corner of the room had dark eyes wielding over to it and she sighed and literally did roll her eyes this time at the Merry Men, toasting their glasses high. Regina shook her head in slight disdain. Bunch of thieves and outlaws being welcomed into the castle. Who would’ve ever-
She stopped as she almost tripped over the small boy sitting on the floor, playing with his new toy- a stuffed monkey. She instantly recognized him, how could she not? Those adorable curls, the dimpled cheeks, that wide grin, he was absolutely precious and so reminiscent of her own boy that she’d left behind with his mother. Her entire demeanor and attitude softened as she looked at him, those mothering instincts kicking in hard as she felt her head flood over. She bent low enough that she got his attention and granted him a gentle smile, her fingers shaking one wing on the monkey, “Are you having fun, Roland?”
All this fandom wars are stupid, I ship CaptainSwan a lot, they're my biggest OTP, but I also ship CaptainCharming, Snowing, SnowQueen, HookedQueen, SwanQueen, DragonQueen, OutlawQueen, Rumbelle, RedWarrior, FrozenSwan....Some of them more in a friendship way than in a romantic way but my point is, everyone have the right to ship what they want to ship and everybody has to respect that. And stop using hurtful words because sometimes it really seems like they don't know the correct meaning.
I’ve often been tempted to use this gif.
And Holy Ships! I love it!
And Red Warrior! As adorable as I thought Red Kansas was I’m still bitter that we didn’t get Red Warrior. My poor Mulan!!! She deserves so much better!
