I like how Romans talked about domestic spirits. They're kinda dead ancestors, kinda previous occupants, kinda local nature spirits, kinda the house itself. There's lots of different types but they all kinda blend and overlap into an amorphous class of spiritual fauna.

While we're talking about how being annoying to someone isnt a death sentence, can we also acknowledge that we have got to stop this attitude that being annoyed by something is some kind of indictment against it?
Because its true that there will always be people who dont like you, who find you annoying for whatever reason, and its also true that there will always be people you dont like who you find annoying for no real reason either. And you have got to understand when theres no real reason for you to feel that way but it just is. You have got to understand that you dont have to hang out with them or invite them out, but you do still have to treat them with humanity and respect. I dont care that you dont like them, if they havent done anything to you, you have no right to be an asshole to them on the grounds that they annoy you. You have no right to spread rumors and gossip about them just because you dont like them. You have no right to act like someone deserves social isolation and vitriol just because you personally find some aspect about them annoying.
It's true that someone will always find you annoying, someone will always dislike you for no real reason, but instead of solely putting it on the person theyre finding annoying to brush it off, can we start also acknowledge the role the other person has to not be an asshole about it?

At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.
You must unlearn this.
You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.
If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.

crazy that you can say "i think telling anyone to kill themselves is bad, even people you hate" or "i think doxxing people is bad, even people you hate" and thats a hot take somehow

"why can't they just be friends" not in the homophobic way but in the "their platonic relationship in the source material is far more dynamic and complex than the sanitized personalities they gain as a result of shipping" way

I am wishing everyone with BPD a full heart, a support network, kindness, patience, understanding. You are not the entirety of your pain, you are allowed to feel as deeply as you feel, you are alive, real, wanted, deserving. No one should tolerate or buy into the stigma, and no one should make you feel like you cannot be who you are due to others using your pain as a shield.
