You aren't as pro-survivor / anti-abuse as you think you are if you treat "narcissists" / people diagnosed with NPD like a coherent category of evil and inherently abusive people who don't deserve any sympathy or understanding, and that if we talk about how we've been abused ourselves, we're lying. At best you're stupidly discounting whole swathes of people who have suffered immense trauma due to your bias assumptions about their moral integrity without even knowing them personally, at worse you're validating the people who abuse(d) them. The same goes for "sociopaths" / people diagnosed with ASPD.
