Back when I used to walk around my college in a corduroy blazer and slacks I didn't call it "dark academia" I called it "professor drag" and the purpose was to smoothly walk into parts of campus I wasn't supposed to access

starting out not so strong with a packet of Woolies all butter croissants. heated up for 5 mins in the oven to a soft-warm just before crispy. the dough inside was some kind of powdery stuck together mess. 3/10. cat wasn’t even impressed. but I finished this Deborah Levy book and it was good. blue is the […] colour I guess.

15.01.2024 | 91/100 days of productivity
So far today I printed syllabi, lesson planned, and dropped stuff off at my office, so now I need to focus on my article (it must be finished!!) and possibly return feedback on stuff I said I would. It’s been very cold lately; it reminds me of being an undergrad in Chicago.

Not sure if I'll meet my deadline... Which actually isn't a problem as it's not binding. I really want to finish this weekend though... I really need to start my next project...

“When you are washing the dishes, washing the dishes must be the most important thing in your life. Just as when you are drinking tea, drinking tea must be the most important thing in your life. Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the whole world revolves—slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this actual moment is life.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh
