Ansem was reading the TP manga and I looked over his shoulder during the final fight. So, uh, spoilers for the manga here but I think it's interesting they explicitly say in the manga that OoT Link and TP Link are not related by blood. I wonder if that was Nintendo's editorial hand (since the manga does have to be approved by someone at Nintendo) or if that was a decision by the creators....

Link looked up at the dragon knight, his shell-shocked eyes looking almost white. The dragon was right, he supposed. In his own journey he had tried to foster as much kindness as he could, though he had no idea how successful he had actually been. He was removed from all of it; who knew how his friends were? The Sages he knew recognized him but wouldn't speak on how things were in their time. Something about 'pair-a-docks' or some kind of word Link didn't understand. Then again, he wasn't that big of a reader. The kokiri prefered to speak their stories.
"Is that why you saved me?"
Link rubbed the spot where the blin had hit him. It was sore, but he'd survived worse than that. The dragon had given him worse, he was sure, even if the dragon knight wouldn't speak to it. Majora had given him worse than that, and he supposed he should simply be thankful that the mask hadn't appeared in this convoluted mess of time shenanigans. This war was very cruel, Link would agree; many hylians lost their lives, to say nothing about the other races of Hyrule.
"Thank you for saving me." A pause, "Sorry about what happened in the Fire Temple."
