i agree about the idea of him being in a band rather than solo. he definitely likes the idea of it. would you go to a show if they announced it in the states or would you skip out?

i totally understand the dilemma of wanting the support and camaraderie of a band but also wanting complete creative control, i don’t envy his predicament bc the music industry is so brutal!!

it depends on my schedule, im really busy and travel internationally for business and pleasure so its up to where i am in the world! although one of my dearest friends lives in the uk and im due for a visit so we might go to a show but it will come down to what all we have going on 🤷‍♀️

i’ve also wondered why not just go solos but tbf Van is all about his ego i think, not that i hate him for it at all and most people know the Catfish name instead of Van McCann so maybe he didn’t want to start from scratch? or maybe he wants someone else to blame if it all goes to shit instead of just a solo career because then it’s all you. This could be completely false this is jsut theories here!!! Benjis fiancée(?) wife(?) posted Showtime on her story so this to me seems like he’s still in!!!!! Not too sure though.

I’m excited for new music and hope we get maybe just a peak into what he’s been up to!

yeah that’s totally fair!! i think van likes the idea of being in a band more than actually being in the band…all of the silence is very confusing to me like why don’t you just use your words you mealy mouthed dweebs!! but maybe that’s what we’re getting on the album?? hopefully we find out soon!!

I feel like he’ll just keep releasing music and playing shows with no word of what happened, that seems the most Van thing to do 🤷🏻‍♀️. I think everything he wants us to know we will find out through the songs and not because of an interview. I think he’ll release a new album before the upcoming shows as well. I’m not sure if Benji is apart of the band or not and not sure who the other members will be either. We’ve discussed on here the last few days about having session musicians but Van being the only “member.”
