Welcome to Veg Med.

Hi! My name is Alexa. I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying Human Development and Family Science. I will start at Baylor College of Medicine in the Fall of 2017! I am so excited.  

I took the MCAT in April 2016 and applied to and interviewed at nine of the Texas medical schools, all of them except for Dell and RGV.  

I have been a vegetarian on and off since middle school and continuously since the beginning of my 2nd year at UT Austin. I am passionate about health in many ways! I ran my first half marathon in January of 2017 and look forward to many more. I also practice barre3 here in Austin!
