Cardinal Rassilon believes humanian life - the basic physical form exemplified by Gallifreyans - to be the only essential form of life. He rationalises that for the universe to continue existing beyond the 10'000 millennia indicated previously, the unnamed creatures should be destroyed. All life not conforming to Gallifreyan standard should be destroyed. To this end, Cardinal Rassilon researched life on 278'000 planets. Of those, 69'000 contained sentient life. To those Cardinal Rassilon sent, via manipulation of the space-time vortex, a self-eradicating set of biogenic molecules with enough power to rearrange the cellular structure of each planet’s dominant life-form, so it would take on Gallifreyan physiology and would continue to evolve along those lines. All other lifeforms will become extinct within 6'000 spans.

More quick doodles with Eight, Charley, and C'rizz (mostly Eight and Charley this time). As usual, everything is sketched with a ballpoint pen because I like to suffer because I like to be unable to correct my mistakes just because.

A couple of them (the first ones) were drawn while my friends and I were lost in Toulouse - we were sitting on the pavement while one of us was trying to read a map of the town on his phone.

Why would I want to return here? When all my heroes are so damn disappointing? Omega: a madman sold out by his peers. Morbius: Timelord of the first rank betrays his heritage. Barusa: My old friend, teacher, and mentor–all he wants is immortality. And Rassilon,oh Rassilon–the father of our whole society–a bigoted despot so consumed by love for his own self-image that he sentences the future to death. Who’s next? Hmm? You, Madame President? Is that what a sniff of power on your pathetic planet does? Enjoy your corruption, Romana. I don’t want to see or hear anything of Gallifrey ever again.
