so lets talk abt trans yuri plisetsky bc i have a lot of feelings abt this

remember that scene where yuri follows yuuri into the bathroom in ep 1 after clearly checking to make sure that theres no one who sees him enter that bathroom (also the fact that he comes out of a room across the hall from that bathroom that is probably also a bathroom) 

he’s always wearing hoodies and hiding in his clothes and always wearing layers and Tight clothes under his layers like he’s trying to flatten himself out

small trans yuri seeing victors junior grand prix finals and looking up to him as a Trans Role Model (bc victor is also trans like cmon) aka why he cares so much about that promise because to him its victor telling him he can make it as a trans figure skater and win

it’s why he tells yuuri not to choose a costume that upstages him because he knows he has to be better than everyone else just to be considered on the same level as them (little does he know that yuuri is also trans but thats another post lbr)

he hates the nick name yurio cause he chose the name yuri and its so important to him that he’s called that
