For just Shimmerina, the burden of knowledge that must come before an escape is even possible(someone on the outside's making sure that can't happen, and getting past him will reveal some hard truths).

For just Pliè, the grief and survivor's guilt that brought her to the circus in the first place(it might not hurt as much, but it never truly goes away).

me waiting for asks on my characters knowing I wont get any be like

@highway-35 and @thunderstomm know how much I love HWLR, I've even helped them with their AUs over Discord. As such, I feel fit to tell them that I'm making an AU of my own. It'll have some bits and pieces of the ones we made together, but should be different enough to stand out. As of now, I'm calling it the Timeskip AU, as it takes HWLR and makes it a timeskip of another Hot Wheels property: BF5, complete with kids of legacy characters/groups!

Vert and Agura's kid is the oldest, and if you know the character's full names, she shouldn't be hard to spot. She's lived in Hot Wheels City all her life, even went to the Ultimate Garage Racing Camp, but her main goal in life was to follow in her parents footsteps. Not sure yet if she failed to make the team altogether or she could have, but in a different role then either of her parents, which she was not ok with. Either way, she pretends that it doesn't bother her(mainly because no one else would even know about the team) but it does- it does a lot.

After the events of the movie, Zemerik's views on organics in general and humans in particular have shifted, seeing how much they were able to accomplish. While he was rebuilding his city and his forces with new purpose, a human accidently found her way into his world. They fell in love, and decided to create the first hybrid of their kind. It- or rather she- didn't turn out perfect(missing an arm), but they made it work(symbolism!). She would grow and develop as a human would, and one day, she will rule over her kind.

The power dynamics on Vandal have taken a major turn. Animal types known for group dynamics, such as the gorillas or, more prominently, the newly discovered wolves, have taken command. Work on restoring their tech is somewhat limited(to my knowledge, there was only one of the group that made the tech in the first place still on planet at series' end, and let's be real, the BF5 had to have rescued him sooner or later. There might be a few Vandals smart enough to figure some of it out, but not many.) At some point, the wolf leader found their way into Hot Wheels City, and quickly took advantage of the situation, as the first human they met was very into that sort of thing. The truth was revealed eventually, but the interest remained. Their child only shows his wolf side on the Vandal homeworld, though they believe he'll be able to control it at a later point in life. He stayed in the city when the wolf leader returned to Vandal, trusting that the city's focus on vehicles would allow their kind to one day return to their glory of times past. It already seems to be working, given the child's massive success over the summer...

Then again, some people just accuse for no reason… at that point, she reached a dead end, oxygen leaving her body faster than it could enter, vision fleeting and hearing muddled.

She was dehydrated, but was that why she was- “Finally caught ya, punk!” Every upper muscle ached at once, as she tried to face her pursuer or pursuers on quaking knees. “What do you hafta say for yourself?” All that [REDACTED] could get out of her mouth, throat raspy from the lack of water, was “I can’t… I… hands… numb…”

And with that, [REDACTED] collapsed on the pavement.

The setting for episode 2 is a world of sweets. I have a literally sweet character. If the setting turns out to be a good place for her, there'll be a move, followed by a housewarming. One of my other characters will be there, as they are besties. There will only be 6 other characters- the one character they had a real interaction with, and five others of the mod of said character's choosing.

I know we're already excited for TADC episode 2, but here's a little more: I might do a small event after the premiere, depends on how the episode goes.
