Keep in mind poodles were bred as HUNTING DOGS and sometimes USE tat
The poodle later worked as a circus performer, military dog, guard dog and guide dog. The poodle's hair cut originated as a working clip for retrieving in cold water. The hair was cropped close to cut down on its weight and drag, but left longer over the head and chest for warmth.
I’m not even a dog person but they deserve more respect.
So it seems some old monsters might be brought in as relatives of Godzilla
Possibly way Toho could smooth over paperwork of trademarks , because from what I remember according to Pipeworks interviews on the Atari games, that its a nightmare even on Toho’s end for loaning out their monsters due to way how IP laws in Japan work.
So by saying “no its totally just an homage” it could be easier for everyone involved.
From the Toy listings we got Godzilla A, Godzilla B, and Godzilla C.
We got a Godzilla A, which we are pretty sure is Godzilla Aquatilis (named in a toy release) , the Titanosaurus homage.
And a Godzilla B and Godzilla C unaccounted for.
I’ve seen a suggestion Godzilla B is Varan inspired, Godzilla Baradagi, the original name of the monster by the villagers.
As for C:
My guess is either Zilla or Orga.
Or is C what we’ve been calling Gabara? To complete a land, air and sea thing?
...Oh dear gosh are they pulling a Bakan?
Are they going to combine into the Godilla we know, or a rival “Godzilla” for the classic design to fight?
Culdee, a sensible mountain railway engine, has a face at each end which allows him to safely keep an eye on the rails.
And the fact in 2002 it was revealed he has a female coworker attatched right behind him has nothing to do with it?
(I note they were never sold together, what a scam.)
So, a friend of mine mentioned she used to have this old Thomas The Tank Engine wooden train set, and she mentioned that there was this character in it called Culdee, who never appeared in the show but was apparently from the original books.
Beginning to loathe just how much modern journalism - at least what I keep seeing - describes hate groups and shit with terms like cruel, violent, evil, malevolent, despicable, abusive, monstrous…those may be negative words but they’re not diminishing words. They only conjure “powerful” images. These authors may as well be sobbing at their feet like “PLEASE DON’T HURT ME DARK LORD OF AWESOME DOOM.” Please stop writing thinkpieces about fascist dictators like you’re reviewing the latest cool comic book villain. The leaders are spoiled bratty slobs and the followers are trashy dumbfucks, it’s not deeper than that.
if you find a bird on the ground that looks like this:
DO NOT remove it unless it is in imminent danger (nearby cat, by a road, etc). fledgling baby birds are still learning to fly, but they do not need help - they are almost fully feathered, and their parents are still keeping an eye on them and helping them. removing them and taking them to a rehabber does more harm than good!
