          Vestiges of shooting stars were seen in a corner of that light-filled blackness, catching his eye in its’ brief blazing existence. Several lifetimes ago, he would have sent a wish without a voice towards no physical place, after seeing the sight of a star that fly. Now, all he did was think: Will a time come when children won’t see any stars to wish on? Here in the fog of war, on the never-ending eve of a battle that held the fate of this universe and the next; a chokehold on his future. Ah, but what future? There was none to speak of, when that key-shaped blade remained in his care. So when she, in all of her striking design and calming tones, spoke of his fear through empathetic colored chords, he had a response sitting on the edge of his tongue. But then she surprised him, speaking of another fear entirely.

           ❝...It does, but--❞ He stopped, digging heels into the ground of his thoughts, giving a moment to mull over the weakness he was about to divulge. The look he gave her was a concoction of uncertainty and shame, flicking eyes from her to the shimmering dark waves with silver tidings in them. His brow set in a firm line, lips down-turned before he spoke, quietly. ❝--I sometimes wish they never forgave me. I look at them and I can’t help but wonder if I’ve done enough for them. I accept their forgiveness, but...❞ His tone echoed with a softness he felt uncomfortable with, returning a melancholy glance over to her as Riku shrugged his shoulders. ❝I wanted them to be angry. Hateful.❞

ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ The breeze of the night blows tenderly, the moon shines peacefully  &  the stars sing their fantasy loving melodies in a beautiful coral. Maybe because of that scenario — or simply due to the fact that she appeared out of nowhere with strange clothes  &  mesmerising tattoos which covered her body in ardent red ink — she looked so fitting yet an outcast to such episode. But so did he. Silver tresses which decorated pale skins, a stance that was both of confidence but constant worry, hands too used to battle as eyes are tired of monsters at sight; a warrior in the body of a boy, his soul screamed in whispers he refused to let out for pride  &  need of keeping with his mission. His eyes… Was that what people called fear? It tickled her tongue, almost as it didn’t belong to her language.  &  perhaps thanks to that, she gave him a fond, comforting smile.ㅤ ❛ you do not need to fear. mastering one’s heart is a way of no return. ❜

ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ❛ besides… i think you’ve made them proud. ❜ ㅤ her gaze turned to his shoulders, peachy lips widening at the sight of a golden flame side-to-side with a pinkish bean of sparkle. A boy, too willing to help others for his own good, naive to the consequences, a younger brother at the same time a protector, lied on his left shoulder. A girl, pure of heart till its very end, kind to others as she embraced fate to make it bend to her will, a fighter with a crown; his light in the times of darkest wanderings, lied on his right shoulder. Their hearts, so far away, but even so, connected with his own. How interesting was that, having hearts bonded by destiny itself? They shined, agitated, jumping in happiness for their long-time partner. No, not long-time partner. Best friend… For their long-time best friend. That was the word she was looking for, yes. Did he knew, how much they loved him, to the point their essences would remain by his side, fueled by the wish of once again meeting  &  the pride for his achievements? ㅤ ❛ does that ease you, master? ❜

SO! I haven’t been on here much at all lately, which I apologize for! It’s mostly that I just felt a bit drained/preocupied elsewhere these days, what with looking for a job, spending time with friends, etc--BUT I finally feel my writing mojo returning SO replies and stuff will be chucked out over the weekend!
