I’ve written fanfiction but lost motivation quick because

1. Starting hard

2. It’s hard to feel motivated when there’s hardly any support. Yeah I’ve wrote some for myself but big ideas I have just don’t feel right without support.

3. I once asked people for advice on how to continue after my first paragraph was done. The first comment was “By ending it”. AND THEN THE PERSON CLAIMS THEY THOUGHT I, THE ONLY GEAGLE* ON DISCORD, WAS SOMEONE ELSE. I still don’t believe them, I think they were bullshitting to get out of trouble. I blocked them and their alt.

*Geagle is a bald eagle with a gooses head. I’ve changed from Geagle for over a few years now. Doesn’t make me any less pissed off at that person, though.

This is an issue in every fandom, unfortunately. Two characters interact once, and suddenly, hundreds of people ship them as if it was love at first sight. And in some fandoms, the most popular ships are between characters that literally never met (but I have to admit the one I am thinking of is cute).

Just let characters be friends.

The focus on shipping in the fandom gets on my nerves SO much I hate it

Like I hate it. So bad. Every time i livestream, even if it’s not wof related, the people in chat ALWAYS devolve into “ship wars” or “imagine if this was a ship ohhh!!” And it’s GRAHHHHH. I hate it. Even when I tell them to stop they just dont?

I just don’t understand the appeal of shipping especially when a character has never met the other character before grahhh
