ive been seeing a new wave of transmedicalists lately I think we gotta start being vocal again about how nasty they are. you don't need to take hormones or have surgery to be a trans person. changing your name and pronouns is gender affirming care. wearing new clothes and hair and makeup is part of transitioning too. you dont need to pass to be trans, you don't need to be male or female.

nonbinary, agender, genderfluid, genderqueer people are trans too if that's a label they want to use for themselves. and anyone who says otherwise is a piece of shit. it's not "anti-transitioning" to say so, it's anti-telling other people what to do with their bodies. it's pro-minding your own fucking business and letting people do what they want with their gender and treating them with compassion and enthusiasm

There's a colorism issue in the black community. No shit, right? But what people fail to acknowledge is the colorism light people face. I'm talking mixed race and albino people. There's this bar of 'black enough' that just fucks us over and I don't fucking fit in anywhere racially because of it. AND THEN? If that wasn't bad enough, some people uphold a 'too dark' meter?????? Make up your minds, do you want to shit on light skinned folk like me or the dark skinned folk? If you answered yes to either fuck you figure out how to not alienate people from your own community.

I tend to just say I'm black, because if I reveal the fact that I had the audacity to be born mixed with white I would be fucking crucified in some spaces. My black identity is not taken seriously. I tried to fit in as a 'white' person for about fifteen years, with half of that being subconscious (ex: refusing to boxbraid my hair and using relaxer and pressing it often to keep it manageable. For the record my hair is kinky straight but my roots have always tightly coiled). It didn't work because I was sniffed out. Fucking shocker/sarcasm. I wasn't white enough either. I'm fucking tired of the race shit, I'm tired of racism, I'm tired of colorism.

If you, as a trans person, attack your own trans siblings because to you, they are "invalid and make us seem horrible", you are siding with transphobes and TERFs.

There is no time for transmascs to be transmisogynistic or transfems to be transandrophobic or for identity discourse when we are quite literally being slaughtered and being mass murderered, when hundreds of trans familys are fleeing because they are unsafe, when trans kids are terrified that they'll be the next dead trans kid on the news.

A politician couldn't differentiate a binary trans person whose enbyphobic or harasses xenogender users or a bungender stargender cutething pan lesbian, they wouldn't try to, because they want us all dead equally.

We will only survive if we stop attacking our trans siblings, because attacking our trans siblings is what politicians and transphobes want us to do, they want us to kill eachother to be considered "one of the good transgenders".

I’m going to be honest. I don’t think you should be a pharmacist or a doctor if you’re not comfortable dispensing medication and assisting people of every demographic. The medical field is one place where the right to refuse service gets people killed. If you’re not able to empathize and help people because of a personal bias against their race, sexuality, gender identity, disability status, religion etc., do not become a doctor. If your “personal beliefs” against birth control are so strong that you will refuse to dispense lifesaving medications like hormonal birth control or misoprostol or you’re so virulently transphobic that you refuse to dispense hormones and hormone blockers, you should not be a pharmacist.

If you have these beliefs that are so strongly against people’s bodies and identities, you should not work around vulnerable demographics. If you want a job where you have the right to pick and choose who you assist, go into gig work or something.
