Espresso is like a mix of already over, feather & nonsense. even though I love it I kinda don’t understand it cause it seems like she is telling 2 or 3 different stories in the song

interesting tbh i cant compare it to anything of hers. even production wise maybe it is closer to emails but the lyrics isnt the same style.

tbh i love it the rhyme schemes, the wittyness, the jokes.

idk much about “the story” i think its simple straight to the point, maybe ill focus onnthe verses later

might be an unpopular opinion but i think sabrina needs to dive deep into her artistry for her next era. she needs to go more self written than even eics was. she did it with the album she released at 17 years old so i need her to go back to her roots and find that confidence again. just needs to do more to fully set herself apart so people stop acting like she doesn't deserve a place in this industry.

thats s good idea, i hope she does explore more lyrically & musically.

i also dont want her to rush this next album like everyone wants her to.

but im sure now after emails shes much more confident in her music & lyrics..etc so i do think its only getting better from here

sabrina says herself that she never stops working. i feel like she’s made vague comments in her last couple of emails referencing an album next year. she says there’s a lot to come. i’m so proud of her

she definitely has songs ready for the next album i bet and she’s probably gonna be writing and recording up until everythings ready and strategically planned releases.

her movie will be filmed this year so i hope once she’s done making the album she’ll be ready to start the releases the right way. i think the beginning of emails was a mess for its circumstances at the time but the label and sabrina are in a much better place this year.

i've seen this debated in the past week, but do you think sabrina has a distinct sound? a lot of the reason why people think she hasn't fully broken into mainstream is because she's not offering anything you can't get from any other artist. even with ariana having a comeback there's been people saying that it's over for her. do you agree or do you think there's something more she could do to set herself apart from other artists?

i think shes doing just fine and is setting herself apart from artists. although people like to compare her for instance to ariana lets say, she still isnt doing what arianas doing, she has different music, she does bring something different to the table than ariana.

and if its taylor who they compare her to. shes still different than her. she doesnt make the same music although sabrina does give songwriter vibes in some songs its a different style of storytelling and even their pop upbeat songs are different.

i think maybe before Emails i would say sabrina doesnt bring anything new to the table but i think its much more than music.

sabrina’s personality in shows, interviews, events…etc is something we don’t always see nowadays.

it’s sabrina’s connection to people that she grew this era by being on tour. including her humor in songs and her shows. even her sad songs has that sabrina carpenter humor freshness.

its also her artistry. if you are keeping up with sabrina you know how detailed she is with her work, coverarts, .. details such as that u can see she doesnt just record a song and slap her name on it.

i feel like when i look at some older artists i wont name who write their own music or only has amazing voice or some has none tbh but sometimes they feel just like a “brand” to me they just slap their names on a project and put it out but YOUNG artists today they care an example of that being Sabrina.

you can tell it. you can feel it. and ESPECIALLY with emails i cant send. so i think when you think of shes not offering something new. its not just music or musics style u have to look at the WHOLE package of that artists brand and image not just music. i think she’ll do okay and i think she’s doing an amazing job so far. hopefully that’ll make her have a great next album & era even better than emails

2023 was a favorably big year for sabrina if you really think about it. i fear that the current momentum she's approaching now could only continue if she churns out a new album right away, and i think she must at least be vaguely aware of that herself. there's already people acting like she'll have nothing left after the eras tour. she has the opportunity to have her biggest era herself by far if she and her team are willing to put in the work next year. or am i wrong?

tbh i agree that 2023 has been a great and big year for her. eras tour ends for sabrina in march and i think after that she’ll be working on the next record and she might have a movie to film in the spring (which will take her a month or two) movies these days are filmed fast and i think by the summer if she works fast & hard enough she could have at least the lead single ready and start momentum & drop it.

even if she drops the lead in the fall lets be realistic shes human and making a full record will take time but at least a lead in the fall maybe around august- sept but aftdr the lead she’ll ned to be fast like the strategy and promo i feel like new artists are more out there by doing promo everywhere (tate mcrae for example)

cause with emails it was slow but she had things just lining up against her, skinny was released before the album was done because she didnt wanna keep everyone waiting, her label didnt have ceos in office so she probably did everything. but she took her time with dropping the rest when the label got their shit together.

there are many factors to it and i think after eras she should take her time but once the albums ready she and the label need to strategies and market everything well and right. like we need her performing more on stages than she did in eics era by that i dont mean just a night show i wanna see her do snl, an award show performance (even if iheart radio or vmas) tiny desk performance, … etc she should be put out there and everywhere idk let the ppl be sick of her 😭

point im trying to make i think she should lowkey lay low but be ready once the record is ready to fully send it, the label knows what shes capable of now since she was new to them then, her name is more out there now, she can build the hype in a better way than eics era started and have it done right. i truly believe that.

and next tour will definitely be bigger. eics tour they were selling more tickets than those little concerts can handle there is demand and sabrina fully builds hype for herself with tour alone and we have again seen it happen with all the legs of eics tour and eras tour.

i think its an honest mistake either from her or whoever posted. lets keep in mind not all celebs post their own promos.

and.. shes just a girl she probably found it funny if she watched it and saved it.

also lets keep in mind how youtube works, it queues up trending videos that are related in this context its a celebrity interview and maybe she (or whoever from her team) didnt realized it went to the next video when the link was copied.

also usually for promo vids if a celebs posts it its usually the label sending them a clip and a link and telling them to post (in some scenarios) do u guys think sabrina would open youtube herself for a link or she was people with instructions telling her what to do.

anyways again not that deep but there are so many scenarios that couldve lead to that and again just an honest mistake
