Why do you think Danai and Andy started dating early 2017?

1. The show of support from Danai’s brother in January (y'all already got the mark tea, I’m not giving the small brother tea)2. Andy’s musings at Paleyfest and the Madrid Panel in March. He sounded like he was trying to woo her and it seemed like nothing but Danai was on the brain.3. Andy came to Atlanta for filming a couple weeks early, which we all know Danai was already in Atlanta to film Black Panther4. The flirtatious yet confident way Danai was acting at comic con. She was complimenting Andy at every chance as well5. October was a tripple whammy: Smithsonian-gate, TWD 100, WSC ATL panel. They were very smug with one another.6. Rewinding back to February though, I just have a strong feeling those red roses in her trailer on her birthday were from a certain someone. She looked so overwhelmingly happy on her birthday. But yes, her brothers support was the smoking gun for me and then from there they both seemed very smitten with one another more so than the other years. They are way more comfortable touching each other too, like it’s a normal habit. In earlier years they had a nervous energy around each other.

I ain’t even going to lie to you, I haven’t written fic in a long time lol. I’m rusty asf and lowkey I’m working on writing a book 👀 which is further further down the line so I don’t have the inspiration or time to write fic at this moment

I just reviewed the timeline last night. Now them leaving the show, especially when Andy did, they fell under the radar quite a bit and then restrictions in the UK kept Andy on his side of the continent quite a bit. But yes. It’s complicated because their relationship is so tied up with R!chonne. Remember when hardwick let slip that 6x10 “the couch” was the first time they kissed 😳. I think up until that point they were just crushes but even after that either his wife got upset, they temporarily distanced themselves but by beginning of 2017, 🥵 Andy and Danai were hot for each other. I’ll go more in depth in another post but just look at all the stuff that happened 2017-2018 🔥 🔥. Although hard, I believe they’ve kept in contact this whole time. Andy was still here in the US here and there once restrictions were lifted but he hasn’t been working on many US projects. The Penguin Bloom was a very short project. I think during their promo their interviews will allow us to piece together what’s been going on the past couple years. (Cause I honestly haven’t been following. I stopped watching the show after season 10). Their eagerness to work together again after all these years… with nobody else?
