Crowley sure went from "our respective head offices don't actually care how things get done" and "nobody ever has to know" to "walls have ears" FAST after Edinburgh. And Aziraphale went from looking at Crowley with hearts in his eyes to "I've been FrAtErNiZiNg" just as quickly.

I'm more convinced than ever that Edinburgh was the first time Crowley ever actually got caught and punished for fucking around with Aziraphale/doing good deeds/whatever it was they yanked him back down to Hell for, and it scared the absolute shit out of both of them and changed the whole tone of their relationship after that.

Meh it's a decent little movie if you want to keep the kids entertained imo.

I feel like if it wasn't a Disney production everyone would be praising it. But it is Disney, with the Mouse's budget, and it is the Centennial, so I just feel... meh about it all.

As it is, I stumbled upon a collection of deleted scenes and that makes me sad because some of the cut concept were really good, ESPECIALLY the relationship with the grandfather.

There are the bones of a great movie in there - it's just that the meat has been cut and recut and recut again to make it... what? More palatable? Blander?

I dunno it makes me a bit sad

And the song doesn't convey anything about Asha's character or objectives outside of the fact that she is an enthusiastic young woman which. We already knew.

And At all costs is... weird? I heard it was apparently supposed to originally be a love song that got readapted and... it shows? I don't know they are there singing at the magic bubbles like they are the love of their lives and it feels weird ok

Like in a small town of 800 people it would take 60 years to grant them all without counting newborns and immigrants at that rate! And I assume Rosas being a whole kingdom is much bigger! HOW DIDN'T SHE REALISE

Also I feel like Saba getting that wish back should've had waaaaay more of an impact

WHAT TRUTH ASHA? THE ONE THAT YOU AND EVERYONE IN TOWN SANG ABOUT IN THE OPENING NUMBER???

Tbh I feel many of this movie's problem actually come from that stupid music number

If the beginning of the movie had been heavier on making the kingdom feel like a cult like environment where people THINK they're happy because they have been brainwashed into it, then Asha's rage at the wishes being kept would make more sense, I feel.

Also "something more than this" is ONE HELL OF A VAGUE WISH

I don't know if I'm just lucky or perhaps Star Trek has just the nicest fans ever but this commission was - again - such a lovely experience! This time @hobbithabits was the client and wanted an age swapped version of Bashirs and Garaks first meeting based on this fic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/54883567 (Past Prologue (Introductions and Intrigue)) Older Bashir was no problem, I've already drawn him and we got lots of beautiful pics of Sid.
