Axis has a soul...right?

I don't know if this is controversial or not, but I believe Axis has a soul, or at least an artificial one. Martlet confirms that UTY's music is diegetic and comes from monster's souls. Axis's music is confirmed to be diegetic, as it's, "a bit intense for his tastes." But hey, maybe Chujin composed that track himself, so let's look at some other evidence.

Axis gives EXP, while none of the other steambots robots do. Even robots that seem more sapient, like Guardener, give 0 EXP on all routes. Axis gives 200 EXP, even on a neutral route.

If you talk to Vendy after getting the Steamworks ID in a neutral route, they'll tell you how "Us robots are quite the hivemind. All controlled by a station to the west of my current location. Axis, however, is a bit of an exception. The 'black sheep' of the robotics project to put it lightly. Can you imagine acting outside a governing fist that only gives you one purpose and no hope of freedom? Could NOT be me!"

And this makes sense- Chujin made Axis himself and Axis seems to have a more distinct personality than many of the other robots. If you go back and talk to him after Pacifist/Neutral (assuming you spared him, of course) he actually seems quite friendly and chill.

Axis also expresses missing Chujin in the pacifist route, implying he's capable of compassion and fondness in a way that Flowey, for example, isn't. He also expresses genuine remorse in the Genocide route before you kill him.

So, while Axis most likely doesn't have free will, I'd argue that he has a soul and is distinctly more sapient than any of the other robots. This is probably obvious but I love Axis and so had to rant about this.
