I kinda wish we got to see The DoDs love interests dynamics with the other Dragonets as well, the only one we kind of get to see is Perils and hers boil down to “hates me/hate her, neutral on me/hate her, fears me/don’t care much for him, wants to be friends with me/hate her”

like, Clay for example I feel could have fun dynamics with the other love interests, I can see him being one of the few people to not mind Fatespeaker always yapping, or he and Deathbringer having a nice respect and even bond after Deathbringer helped him save Glory

I’d say something for Riptide as well but the dudes a piece of cardboard imo. you get what I mean though, they could have very nice dynamics

Scavengers becoming important really disappointed me tbh. I loved WOF because it was purely about dragons; so much dragon media also focuses on humans, like How to Train Your Dragon, so it’s really hard to find anything JUST about dragons. So it really sucks seeing that scavengers will probably have a bigger role now, and may possibly be a major focus. I just want dragons without humans for once. I still love WOF and will continue to read the books when they come out, but it really made me sad to see scavengers getting a more important role than “the lil guys who are smart and killed a Queen”.
