I want to know if I was just an exceptionally odd child, so
When I was a kid, sometimes my uncle (at the time, in his early/mid-twenties) was left to look after me. Being a guy who typically prefers being left alone, he once formulated a game for me to play to achieve that end: the Stone Game.
The rules of the Stone Game are to sit on the corner of the stairs with a paper bag on your head and be as still and quiet as you can for as long as possible, and I loved it - so much so that I later asked my mum if I could play it, leaving her rather pissed off at her brother. I think I enjoyed the sensory experience of being enclosed in a paper bag more than the being-quiet bit (which was neutral to me) but I don't think I've come across anyone else who had fun playing "shut up" games, either way

the idea that restrooms, locker rooms, etc need to be single-sex spaces in order for women to be safe is patriarchy's way of signalling to men & boys that society doesn't expect them to behave themselves around women. it is directly antifeminist. it would be antifeminist even if trans people did not exist. a feminist society would demand that women should be safe in all spaces even when there are men there.

Ok so today I was on the bus with another trans guy and we were talking about how hard it is to get testosterone. The waiting lists, the price, all the doctors you have to go to, that kind of stuff. Except, we were calling it ’T’, like you do when you’re both closeted and in public.
Then suddenly the elderly lady sitting behind us was like ‘young men, either I’m going crazy or you both have never heard of supermarkets, they have shelves full of tea there! Do you need directions to one?’
To which my buddy starts to explain, because why not. ‘Well you see, we’re both trans, and… ’
The lady didn’t wait for him to finish his sentence. ‘Oh no, I don’t mind that at all! Now do you want to know how to get to a place that sells tea? I’m actually heading there right now!’
We let her take us to the supermarket. We let her show us, excitedly, where the tea was. We both bought loads.

Classes where most of the credit is in tiny "homework" and "quiz" assignments that are due 3x a week and "in class activities" are the devil's work. Incredible way to rigorously train your brain to forget how to read and write as soon as you are asked to have an original thought or complete a self-paced assignment.
Classes like this are always somehow the most stressful class ever even though everything is low stakes and nothing is challenging. Their purpose appears to be to sabotage your upper level classes by passively draining your mental capacity and making you dumber. God help you if the format of the assignments is difficult for you for some reason, because you will have to do that assignment 400 times and the professor will be completely boggled by the mere idea that disability accommodations might be needed, because they are purposefully designed to be "easy."
