Today is April 14th, or still April 13th back in my Pennsylvanian hometown. I’ve been away from there since April 1st, now in a Taipei neighborhood which I am calling home for the next several months. I checked my credit card and it’s empty, no payments due. No income, but no payments due. The debt is gone.

Things that have happened since I’ve moved:

Purchased a bike, which I have been riding up to twice a day. The best motivation is when Chi and I can both wake up together and ride.

I have a prepaid cellphone card, so that I don’t get lost.

I’ve made a total of 3 purchases by myself at Taiwan shops. First was to put money on my MRT card. Second was to buy a snack at a rice shop, and third was to buy a latte. Just a plain latte because I messed up asking for a hazelnut latte. It’s okay because the regular latte was cheaper.

Composed the music and video editing for Chi’s project and helped her submit it. It’s completed, we’re waiting.
