Really? Cool! Yeah, there are quite a few Broadway singers on here. A ton of creative people on here. As long as picking management makes you happy. And you know, you're never too old to learn. You can always pick up music now. Aww, that's sweet, did he play songs for you?

Oh a musician, you might be the first actual instrument playing musician I found on this site (some were singers on broadway which is incredible in itself) I always had quite a fascination for music, but I decided to go into management myself. My former husband played the guitar and was quite the romantic.

It, for sure, is one of the most original and interesting reasons I have ever heard. I hope the bruises will be gone soon.

I am completely bruise-free and doing alright. We're in the middle of rehearsals for the Christmas shows. So I guess you can say I'm busy but it's a good kind of being busy. What have you been up to?

You know, for all the reasons I've had weird bruises before, "St Bernard with a giant stick" is a very interesting one. Not that I mind, per se, but I really didn't think he'd hit me that hard. Then again, I think a few of them might be from where I made contact with the ground.

Anyway, how is everyone else doing? Bruise free, I hope.

Ten weeks are still a long way to go, so enjoy that time. Have you ever thought about stepping back from while only doing matinees so you can tuck your daughter in?

1 week down with 11 more to go and I'm already feeling mixed emotions about the end of my run as Satine. I love my fellow cast and crew, I love our audiences (and adore my fans), and I will miss both dearly, but a part of me misses the ritual of tucking my daughter into bed each night and can't wait to get back to that while she's still young enough to need me too.

And of course, I also miss tucking my wife into bed each night as well.

You'll make up for it then... what does that mean? Are you planning to burn something down?

We're doing alright. Just got back from a shopping trip where we spent far too much money on fluffy/comfy sweaters and hoodies.

I suppose the upside of it having been rainy on Mabon was that I was not given an opportunity to burn something down and thus my wife does not have room to tease me about such. The downside is that I didn't get to do nearly as much as I wanted to for it... Oh well, the full moon is coming up, I'll just make up for it then.

In the meantime, how is everyone doing as we transition into fall?

That's an excellent way to describe the 'normal' weather circumstances here. Now that things have seemingly returned to normal, my claims of moving to the North Pole seem a tad much, but I'll keep your offer of accompanying me in mind for the next heatwave. Have things in NYC cooled down as well?

You know, the weather in Ohio always was a little insane- it’s like having all four seasons in one twenty-four hour period every day. I can’t even imagine it being just consistently hot all day like this. I feel for you.. The North Pole actually sounds like a FANTASTIC plan. If you’re looking for company, let me know. I tried the ice-cold shower technique this morning myself, I could only stand it for a couple of minutes; still, it was helpful.

You and me both. I usually do not mind the heat, but this was too much. Nice!! It's about damn time there's another club we can go to, other than Scandals. We were lucky enough to not lose power over here. I'm glad that the temperatures have returned to semi-normal, though.

It's honestly been insane, especially since we lost power for a bit. Was not a good time.

You might be correct; plus, flying... will add to climate change. Indeed, I am not a fan. I love sunshine like any human does, but there is such a thing as too much heat. A nice 77 degrees with a breeze is more than enough summer weather for me.

I'd go for that ice-cold shower if I were you. I think a trip to the north pole might just make the heat feel worse, until you actually get there of course. So you're not exactly a fan of this weather?

Which could ruin the series changes on a new season. The more streams the better the prospects on being picked up for another season, correct? So why not recommend it to others. 

I mean, there are some series that the people who have watched and loved it still refuse to reccommend it to other people, so there is that.

That's the idea, stay as cool as possible. I might go corner my mum and ask if I can stay at her place - she's got a pool. You and me both. This weather can't be healthy.

I will be living in my pool, or at the beach, until this insanity eases up. I do not approve.

Styrofoam coolers full of ice without cheap, very vague brand-name beers is not done.

Like, I don't need the beer but I feel like you can't have a styrofoam cooler full of ice without also needing there to be beers in it. But, at the same time, I don't think it can be good beer, it has to be cheap beer.

How do all y’all from up here deal with the cold? It’s a rough winter back home when we get an inch of snow for the whole year. All y’all up here call that a Tuesday. I reckon we just grew up with it.

I have been here in NYC long enough that I’m starting to adjust, but I don’t think I will ever adjust enough that I’ll be complaining about too much heat.

Layers, it's all about wearing layers. Like I always say, you can dress for the cold, not a heatwave. Can't go walking around in only my Speedos while doing groceries, right?
