"good to know it runs in the family." lettie grinned as she grabbed the spell book from her, looking over the spell. "okay. easy." they nodded once before setting it down and looking over at the candle, attempting the movements to light the candle on fire, though it's the curtain next to it that ignites.

"yes, yes. you're as impatient as sophie is." howl laughed, slipping behind the counter to grab a spell book to hand over to lettie. "alright, very simple stuff, try and light that candle over there."

"i think so." as close as it felt it may be the quickest way. "there is walking, but it also depends on how much time you have. it'd be about a 30 or so minute walk and it's like a 15 minute train ride."

"Not here, no," Gareth replied, looking around. "Is that the fastest way to get to City Hall from here?" he asked. He'd gotten himself so turned around. So if a train was quickest, he'd take it.

"you act like you're the only one that can be out at this time." lizzie answered with a roll of their eyes. there were things that they needed to clear of their mind and it wasn't like there was a ban from a late night/early morning stroll. "i don't know, you could walk that way for peace. what a concept. i'm out here because i can be."

"they'll realize soon that whatever happened wasn't because it was what evie wanted. she was made into a weapon because of miranda. they were both used."

"i love you more." it was the truth. the love that ethan held for his wife only grew stronger every single day. right now all he wanted to do was walk the line of supporting both his wife and daughter in what they needed while also keeping the peace. after all it felt like peace was something they needed most. mouse fumbled for their phone in their pocket trying to dial an emergency number, though they weren't sure what it could really do. "help!" she shouted as she found herself near the sidewalk outside the alley. the metal pipe barely missing their shoulder, scraping their arm as it flew past. she lets out a scream the next moment a bottle hits the wall. mouse is turning the corner when they run into another person, shouting for their help.

Charlotte kept walking towards Mouse, swinging a piece of metal pipe past their shoulder. Charlotte began whistling an eerie tune. Like a very twisted jack in the box melody. Stopping as the rubbish came falling down in front of them. "That could have hurt us. Bad move." Her eyes still jet black. They threw a bottle against the wall close to the other. Purposefully missing. She kept whistling.

myri nodded her head. "right. it sounds like it's super powerful." they nodded along to the other. "cool, because i'm getting antsy. i want my diamonds now." they were becoming impatient with the drive to the museum, reading to get their hands on the jewelry they'd wanted to nab months ago.

"It is. Not something to be taken lightly. But if you can control it, a very powerful weapon." Zash nodded. Unfortunately she would see soon enough. It would go quickly. He did consider her an acquaintance at least so he didn't want her to suffer. "Makes breaking into places easily. Won't be too long now till we arrive." Though it wasn't the museum they were going to.

nat refrained from rolling their eyes. "what exactly is happening on 14th and k?" they asked with a stern hand resting on their hip. the other was their friend, but that wouldn't mean they'd just let him get away with doing illegal things. it was their duty to stop it from happening.

"awesome. so i'd just stay clear of 14th and k for the next several hours." seth advised the other. she had been nice enough so he was at least going to warn her.

"i got here a few months ago." noela replied as she pulled away from the hug. "it's fine, but this place is actually crazy." it didn't take noela long in being here to learn what could happen to people here.

"we can finally be happy together." padme's hands rose to place on either sides of his face, leaning up to place a kiss on his lips before pulling away. "you know leia even has new babies here we can watch grow up here." her face shines brightly.

"there's no jedi order here stopping us from being together," that he was glad of - it also meant there were fewer people here he could disappoint, no more than he already had certain people.

"noted." paige let her friend hold onto her arm as she walked through the maze. "damnit, why'd they have to make this thing so confusing?" she groaned in frustration as she tried to make her way through, finally finding the exit. "oh, finally! we're out, we're out."

"just know i'm totally closing my eyes and holding on to your arm the whole way." rikki insisted as she moved to loop her arm with the other. "the ferris wheel sounds great. a little afraid of heights but even that somehow seems fine now."
