I'm going to triple check that I'm not immediately flying out, and then let you know. My team puts so much together in twenty different directions, it makes my head spin sometime. She'd just adore you, and I know Violet would just think you're pretty. She's going through a seven-year-old phase where she's calling everyone gorgeous, so prepare yourself. Modesty left my body the second I got to call you a friend. You don't do that any favors when you're a global phenomenon. What's been keeping you busy in LA these days? Is Joker 2 still shooting or is it wrapped?

I can absolutely make it to New York! Just let me know when works for you and I'll get on the plane and head your way for a day or two. Then it's settled - it's been an eternity and we are both not okay with it. Any chance I can get you to New York for this? I know you've got a bustling life over there in Hollywood, but I also must confess that Hazel's started her rebellious era and you're one of her main musical inspirations. You might just have to see it to believe it. Begging seems nonoptimal when we are the two people that we are, Stef. I think the caller ID would just have to pop up and we'd be in in seconds. Humble bragging or begging need not apply.

It feels like an eternity on my end. I'm glad that my presence is one that you consider positive, darling. I know how hard you've been working so, yes, a spa day is long overdue – I'm in between cities, always, with my parents in New York and my home in LA, so I'm only ever a plane ride away if you want to do something on the East Coast. I'll start looking into the best spas in the city and maybe they'll be able to fit us in if we beg hard enough.

Have you seen me on a pitch, period? You're gonna have to walk me through step by step, I haven't been sporty since secondary school. I do, my main hub is New York but I have a home in London as well. Used to have a home or two in LA, but I go there less frequently and it didn't make as much sense.

I know, love. It's a crime. I'm hoping that unless I have to get whisked off to LA for another premiere next week, I should be here at least until Mid-May. Hazel's used to being a sort of mother duck, I think she enjoys having more followers. It's rough when the younger one is that young, your older one doesn't always have a clue what to do with them. Hazel used to constantly drag Violet around, I think she thought she was playing with a real-life baby doll. I'm glad we've ended up where we did, you're a fantastic mum. Always in it together, it's how we have to get through these things. Once they're off to high school, we can be sobbing messes together.

We've been arguing a lot over dumb things since the top of the year, which isn't like us, and I thought it would be a magical remedy so the girls wouldn't have to live around that energy. Oh same here. I know we have been crazy busy lately, but we live in the same city, and we need to make time to see each other more often. Listen, Hazel is such a leader by nature. I love to see how the other girls just follow her around. Same with Gi! She still has a love-hate relationship with Dani and isn't always thrilled to be around a 1 year old. Hanging out with Vi was so good for her. Honestly? No, I didn't imagine that at all. A part of me thought I wouldn't have kids. I was so focused on my career given that I came into this industry in my late 20s and early 30s and I didn't have time to think about kids and a white fence. I love that we're in it together. I wish there was a magic potion to stop our kids from growing, at least for a couple of years.

The little glimpses I've seen of it make me want to be blissfully unaware. I'm just glad I got a little taste of you today, that'll satiate me until I get the honor of seeing you again. Aren't they just the sweetest? Hazel wasn't as much of a little tyrant as I expected her to be with the little ones, and Vi I think was happy to be around someone closer to her age. Did you ever imagine we'd be the friends who get time in while their children play? It's absolutely mad to me. But yes, she's just growing up way too quickly for my liking. Even Violet, I look at her sometimes and wonder where the time went.

What is it people say these days? The grind never stops? And it doesn't, truly. Ryan and I had the Fall Guy Paris and Germany premieres this past weekend, so John and I traversed there and back in what's felt like a matter of minutes. Isn't it just the sweetest? We were worried about Hazel too initially, but she really came into her own with the big sister role. It's so good to hear that Axel did the same. But he's got great role models to look up to, so I'm not surprised. You and Seb have done a fantastic job, from one mum and bestie to another, I'm quite proud. Do you think you'll have any more besides the two? That's the question of the hour I'm sure you've been hearing from your folks, I'll bet?

From Paris? Good grief; I didn't realize you were coming from that far away, but I am eternally grateful. Concealer does wonderful things, my friend. I wouldn't have even known! It is cute, isn't it?
