okayy im gonna do this in the way shan did it where it's where my oc fell for their s/o but:

it was definitely when river kept showing up with the coffee after they first met. he wasn't used to people actually trying to get to know him under the surface and he didn't know it yet but the gestures were so important to him that he started to look at river completely differently. i'd say he knew knew when he decided to buy the coffee back.

I think it was when Ali started calling them "my Harlow" Even though she thought it was platonic it made her feel wanted and loved. Over time it grew to be a feeling of love.
