I do not understand, I do not fully comprehend: how this island can host so much barreness and beauty at the same time. To be able to host desolation and fascination on the same platter. While I stand on flat ground, ready to visually feast til my eyes are full of contentment, yet to hunger for more. To be so heavily encumbered with my sighs of awe, then to echo my sighs into to perfect silence.

Leaving me stood still, whipped by icy painful (you-don't-belong-here) breeze. I am smiling with the discomfort of no warmth. Happy at the sights of nothing on my horizons. And thankful to be able to capture everything and nothing, with a friend.
