The fire of his anger was still burning white hot ( or maybe blue, that was hotter wasn't it? ) through his body but fuck, after drunkenly getting lost one too many times in a building he would have normally known like the back of his hand, his lungs were burning twice as much. While the alcohol in his system and the adrenaline of being mad was still keeping most of the pain away, Jae was at least aware that he definitely looked a wreck. Having caught a glimpse of himself in a reflective surface in the front door area as he waited for one of the way too many buttons he'd slapped with his hand and dragged his palm down to hopefully buzz him in or call the cops for the psycho who wouldn't answer intercom questions of who was out there pressing their buttons at an hour closer to sunrise than it was sunset — whichever happened first.

Repetitive attempts had finally gained him access and his harrowing journey of wrong turns into wrong stairwells had begun. Jesus, he needed to stop smoking — a habit he'd secretly picked back up as of late what with everything going on — he hadn't even huffed this badly during some of his more strenuous training in Korea. Stopping for a quick rest, his hand was holding himself up on the wall when his fingertips grazed a dip in the plaster. Gaze shooting to it quickly enough to make him dizzy, he recognized the spot immediately. His heart panged ( he'd never admit it, no sir ) as his mind played back the shouts of laughter and yells to carry your own weight as the three of them had moved Sunwoo into their place, Mason and DaeDae underfoot. Jae and Kian had caused the damage when they'd banged into it with a heavy piece of furniture while goofing off, immediately scolded by Sunwoo. The management had the hole filled in but...you couldn't ever really completely fix something once broken, could you? Tracing it with his fingers, Jae pushed off from the wall with the tears threatening his resolve again. Sunwoo's place was around the next bend of the hall.

Knuckles scraped up from the fighting tonight, they stung with the power behind the rap he tapped on the door as his other hand covered the peephole. ❝ Hyun— ❞ His voice cut off. Sunwoo didn't deserve a title. ❝ Woo— ❞ Definitely didn't deserve a nickname either. Banging his fist again, his voice was slurred, raspy with his breathless tone and laced with attitude. ❝ Seong Sunwoo! 문 열어, 겁쟁이! ❞ Open the door, coward.

Another hard knock before a huff escaped him as he placed his forehead against the door, a pouty whine of a sentence following. "Aish, I'm gonna die, I need water." He needed a whole hell of a lot more than a drink but if he hadn't seen his face for himself or had been tasting the blood for awhile now, he still probably wouldn't have even known that Sunwoo was in for quite the sight if they opened the door. What the fuck was he even doing here?
