The more I dwell and think about it. The more I realize that I DESERVE IT ALL!

Thoughtful texts or calls throughout the day

Being wanted

Being courted

Little dates planned to distract me when things are going horribly

A calm mind with little overthinking

Consideration for my life in general

Anything more than this!

Is this all I’m good for? A good fuck?

I may not know what it means to be in a relationship as an adult

BUT, that doesn’t mean I don’t deserve to be loved in a meaningful way…right?

My body. My power. Cannot be used like this again.

BUT, what if everyone else was right? What if I stood behind my ignorance due to inexperience to keep me blissfully delusional? What if?

I don’t finish how much more my mind can take

BUT, I won’t let it deter me…or at least, I’ll try to stay strong

BUT, the mind is a fragile thing. I can be as strong, as confident, as powerful as I can will myself

BUT, at the end of the day…I am not the positive in his wallet and I am just the body that helps keep him warm…

I like submitting to the universe

Like it’s really gotten me through a lot and the faith is truly there

But I also know that as much as the universe sends people to be in our lives forever, it will send just as many to just be a lesson

And I really hope this isn’t supposed to just be a lesson

I feel safe around him and I don’t feel like I need to hide my past from him

Hell, I just published a collection of my sexual escapades, I can’t be trying to hide anything from anyone honestly

But, again, I must ask, is this just supposed to be a lesson

I know it will also depend on me

I know how I can get, and I’ve promised myself I won’t let my old ways get in my way

But, I also know, I haven’t been really pressured with the temptation since I’ve entered this space

I want to say I have faith in myself, I want to believe that I won’t put my wants before my needs

I’m only human, but I need to be stronger

So, maybe in this next season, I’ll figure out if this is more of a lesson

However, I truly do hope that it’s more than just that
