Episode 28 Thoughts
-The way Serkan was so scared and relieved to find her! That hug held so much love and longing!
-That envelope is going to cause problems and I’m not liking it.
-They are intertwined like never before while discussing the wedding! I love it! The tension between Ayfer and Aidan will always get me laughing!
-YASSSS! Bye Balca, I swear I get so annoyed with Serkan not telling people off like Selin and Balca but when he does, IT’S SO WORTH IT! He tells them off straight, no holding back! Those moments are really worth putting up with their annoying schemes!
-Melo-eniste saying I love you had my heart!
-Ferit/Ceren and Serkan/Eda couple talk! Lol Serkan was ready to strangle Ferit for bringing up the trip!
-Pyril/Ceren being mad at Engin/Ferit was a sight to see!
-THESE MEN ARE IDIOTS. Like there is no hope for them. There is not a single brain cell in between the three of them.
-They are like 3 year old kids, I cannot with them! TALK YOUR SHIT OUT!
-Not Erdem inviting himself to this trip but tricking both Engin and Serkan!
-They are so miserable without the girls, I love it!
-THEY ARE SO IN LOVE. And I’m in love with them. Every single moment of this trip to Sapanca is precious and beautiful.
-Poor Erdem, I really felt bad for him!
-THE WHOLE MODELING CONTEST THING WAS HILARIOUS! The way the boys reacted to the contest to Melo telling on them to Serkan placing the blame on Ferit and the girls revenge! SUCH A FUNNY SCENE! It’s moments like this that remind me why I love this show! It’s comedic nature always reminds of what made me love the show!
-The Aidan-Ayfer-Seyfi heart to heart was so precious!
-The apology scene with Erdem is top tier! I swear they give me life! And the BATHTUB SCENE WAS 🔥🔥🔥
-Aydan-Eda scene was so precious! They’ve come so far!
-My heart literally is broken. I cannot handle the last scene. They were so happy and ready to get married and spend their lives together. They deserved better. I deserved better. I will never forgive anyone for taking away their happiness! My heart literally hurts for Eda. After every loss she has suffered, to finally see the light and find happiness only for it to be taken away. I cannot imagine. And my heart broke for Aidan too. To experience a loss of another child. I cannot think in words. I just can’t.
Overall: I LOVED THE EPISODE! It was funny and light hearted filled with precious moments between all the characters! After everything EdSer have been through, they deserved to be together and happy! I can already tell the next few episodes are going to hurt and I’m not ready! But I love EdSer and I love their love so I will pull through for them only!

Episode 27 Thoughts
-I haven’t been this happy about a beginning of an episode in a long time! My babies are happy! The rings are back! THEY ARE BACK TOGETHER! All the touching and being close, it’s too much to handle!
-Talking about kids? Second proposal? Climbing on top of the Eiffel Tower for a love confession? Secret whispering? SOMEONE COME COLLECT ME BECAUSE I AM NOT OKAY! I feel like I’m intruding in these scenes but they are so happy and in their bubble! Ahhhhhhhh!
-THEY COULDN’T WAIT TO TELL EVERYONE! The love between these group of friends is everything! The way Pyril/Engin and Ceren/Ferit are so happy for them!
-Ayfer using hypnosis on Melo, lol I love it!
-Babanne being shocked and not saying anything.... not good! But at least my babies stood by their decisions hand in hand in front of her! Also, I am now a 100% sure that that flower ring has something to do with Eda’s parents and it’s going to be an issue. I swear if it’s the reason they break up again, I will fight someone.
-Ayfer is seriously so twisted! On one hand, she’s all about Eda is independent and strong and will powered and then goes on to blame Serkan for Eda’s decisions! Like for fucks sake, grow up! Just as Serkan is a grown man who you want to take responsibility of his actions, Eda is a grown woman who can think for herself and make her own decisions! And this whole thing she has about not wanting to be part of the “Bolat family” like ma’am have you looked at your mothers actions because clearly your history isn’t as clean as you think. If you want to keep bringing Alptekin’s mistakes in front as to refuse Eda/Serkan reunion, maybe take a look at everything Babanne has done. The wall falling incident with Efe, Serkan getting arrested, and now the prince’s entrance which is for sure going to cause trouble for Eda. I understand that she is Eda’s guardian and loves her dearly but her treating Eda like an innocent child who knows nothing and blaming everyone else is so just twisted!
-That was such a breathtaking scene. I literally held my breathe the entire time. Them sitting down at the table and playing with each other’s hands. Serkan’s intense gaze that expresses just how much he loves and cherishes her. Eda finally getting a moment of peace to enjoy and cherish everything that had happened. Serkan plying the piano for her. And the proposal. The words. The mannerism. The tenderness. The simplicity. It was everything. Genuinely such a beautiful proposal. They just feel like they were written in the stars. Meant to be. Soulmates. Lovers for lifetimes to come.
-Wow. Babanne threatening Aidan. Honestly I was waiting for Aidan’s claws to come out but she held herself back. I wonder if there will be a big confrontation with Babanne. And then Babanne goes and tries to talk to Ayfer. Being tough on children is exactly how she lost her son. I hope to dear god, she comes to her senses before she loses her granddaughter too.
-Balca’s face at seeing Serkan and Eda walking in holding hands WAS EVERYTHING!
-Look at Melo helping out with her eniste and DaDa!
-Them trying to make it all look like a big coincidence, y’all are idiots!
-THEY ARE SO CUTE. The way he closed his eyes like a little kid and the way she teased him and walked away. I cannot handle.
-ENGIN IS SUCH A MESS, I LOVE IT!
-WHAT A MESS OF AN ENGAGEMENT! I HAVEN’T LAUGHED SO HARD IS SO LONG! IT IS TRUE SCK STYLE ENGAGEMENT! Everything about that scene made me happy. All the mishaps, the interruptions and everything!
-They are so in love and I’m in love with their love! They are so happy to be together and so playful, I can’t get enough of it!
-Eda looks so happy on the henna night, I love it!
-THE GIRL GANG TURNED UP, AS THEY SHOULD!
-I love how Serkan cracked and was like I gotta go see my girl!
-Oh shit! There was something in that sugar from the prince! NOT THIS BALCA BITCH PRETENDING! Ughhhhh!
-EDA NOOOOO! I swear my girl better be alright!
Overall: SUCH A GOOD EPISODE! I loved how fast paced it was and how it was straight to the point and no extra stuff! Honestly enjoyed watching each and every scene and every character as well! I’m so excited for what’s to come in the next episode!

Episode 26 Thoughts
-Yo know what? For someone Eda has hated and claims to can’t stand, she sure backs down a lot from grandma. Like Eda pushed back against Ayfer but is like holding back against grandma. I’m sick and tired of both Babanne and Ayfer saying crappy things about Serkan. Like what the hell do you guys even know. He has been nothing but polite to both of them and show great respect for Eda and for them to make snide comments and constantly tell Eda to stay away from him. I want Eda to go off on them and tell them that she loves him and stand up for him.
-Why do all the men worry about Eda after breakups? First Efe and now Seyman. Her man can take care of her.
-Honestly I love that Ferit pushes Serkan a little bit! Engin and Piril won’t because they are friends but I like that Ferit is the 3rd party to do that.
-This is exactly how Eda used to taunt Serkan after he broke up with her. Make remarks about thinking she was important to him and all and he couldn’t say anything back to her. And now she finds herself in the very shoes he was in but calls him out for treating her “coldly” or what not. Now she understands what he went through after their breakup. Having the most important person in your life treat your coldly and you not being able to say anything. Not being able to tell that person the truth. Doesn’t feel good, does it Eda? To not tell that person that they are important to you and that you love them.
-THE DAGGERS IN HER EYES WHEN HE SAID TO BE FRIENDS 😂😂😂😂 She was ready to kill him! And everytime he called her a friend, she was gonna strangle him.
-Petty and dramatic Serkan is my favorite! He’s about to lose his shit over that tiny little spot!
-Who is Piril’s dad? I am scared.
-Melo and Eda being spies was hilarious! Didn’t even make it through a minute!
-You know what I love? Eda not paying a single mind to what Seyman was saying. She couldn’t care less. Balca trying to get Serkan drunk! Lol please let it happen! Last time Serkan got drunk, he kicked Selin out! I would love to see that!
-PSYCHO! SHE’S GONNA KILL HIM!
-That bathroom conversation was fucking PETTY AND FLIRTY AND EVERYTHING! They literally can’t stand being away from each other!
-Why is Seyman just looking at between Eda and Serkan like that? Like he’s noticing how they are trying to make each other jealous and all but like he’s intrigued...... please don’t let this go bad
-SERKAN IS LITERALLY DYING! He’s literally coughing up his lungs and no one is batting a freaking eye!
-MAN, EDA DOES NOT FUCK AROUND! The way she handled Balca was top notch! Yes girl, secure your man!
-TOP TIER SCENE! Just.... freaking.... ahhhhhh! Honestly I wanted to see more but you know it’s a family show! BUT MAN THEY ARE HOT!
-THE NERVE OF SEYMAN! how dare he walk into Serkan’s office and say all that! I’m glad Serkan didn’t hold back and told him off! And Seyman pretending to be innocent in front of Eda.
-OH MY GOD. That ending! I LOVE IT! YESSSSSS!!!!! Get married. Have babies. Run a company together. Make a life together!
Overall: What a roller coaster of an episode! Happy, sad, excited, funny, drama, pettiness! It had it all! Honestly wish they would stop with the Ayfer-Aidan-Alexander thing. I can’t watch it. It’s awful and painful! Melo-Tahir is cute! Hopefully they’ll give my baby Melo a happy ending! Babanne is setting Eda up for a big trap and I feel it in my bones. Seyman’s intentions toward Eda seem innocent but his words toward Serkan hold a bigger and more dangerous meaning. I’m so excited to see them being engaged. In all honesty, I will enjoy all the engaged and in love EdSer I get but if I’m being serious, I don’t think this will be it. I don’t think they will get married just yet. I think there’s still a long time before we see a wedding happening. And I genuinely believe there is some kind of heartbreak on its way and it will leave us stunned and unable to comprehend. But in the mean time, GIVE ME MY BABIES IN LOVE AND ENGAGED!

Sen Cal Kapimi-Episode 25 Thoughts
I know I’m late but I thought I’d just share something!
Honestly Balca and Babanne had me annoyed the entire episode!
Also, Ayfer-Aidan-Alexander thing is so annoying. What is the purpose of this. Like what is that achieving for the overall dizi. It’s such an unnecessary plot line like waste of space!
Eda/Serkan broke my heart. Eda’s pain about parting with Serkan and Serkan’s hopelessness in trying to get Eda to communicate. And of course the breakup. I genuinely believe that Eda’s reason and words to part were a lot worse in comparison to Serkan’s version of the breakup. Because her choice of reason and words were exactly what Serkan feared the first time around. She made his fear and his horror come true. He was scared that by being with him, he would cause her pain at looking at him and his family. And only after she told him after the truth reveal, he allowed himself to believe that it wasn’t his fault and that he was not reliable for Alptekin’s mistake. And with this one move, Eda proved Serkan’s fears right. I think that was awful. Not only that, but she called their reunion and their moments on New Years a mistake. The moment that they both were truly happy, she called it a mistake. That is not okay. She broke his heart. And I know she is in pain too. And that she didn’t want to break up. I mean I’m sad for both of them but when I tell you, I cried just by the looks on Serkan’s face. My babies are broken and I hate it.
No matter what happens and how the characters of Babanne, Balca, and Seyman change, I will never forgive the pain and heartbreak that has occurred due to these three. They broke both Serkan and Eda’s heart and I will not forgive for that.

Eda/Serkan-Love Languages
In the recent episodes, Eda and Serkan have been communicating via each others love language. From the earlier episodes, it was pretty evident that Eda’s love language was words of affirmation but Serkan’s was acts of service. Eda would always say encouraging and positive things while Serkan would express more by doing. But ever since they got together and more importantly ever since they broke up and the truth has been out, it’s been reversed. Serkan is more expressive about his feelings with words where as Eda with her actions. It’s such an interesting switch because it’s very unusual. I think that’s why we don’t see Eda saying a lot about her feelings because she is more expressive through her actions. Maybe it’s an unknown change or unintended effect by the characters but it holds so much power. Maybe for Eda, she believes that she’ll be able to prove her love to Serkan by doing more than saying anything. Where as Serkan is focused on making Eda believe in his love by being verbally affectionate. That’s why there is such a big change in their characters. In the earlier episodes, I used to get frustrated with Serkan for not saying anything and only doing and now I get frustrated at Eda for the same. I used to appreciate how direct and bold Eda was regarding her feelings and now it’s one of my favorite things about Serkan’s character growth. I mean I’ve never really seen two people change their love language before but I think it gives their relationship a different power dynamic. And maybe perhaps their love language hasn’t changed but maybe in just trying to get the other to understand they are using one another’s way to prove their love.

Episode 24 Thoughts
-What a fucking entrance by Babaanne. I hate her already. Like she really came prepared and attacked Serkan, Eda, the company and their relationship all in less than 15 minutes. SHE BROKE THE DAMN FLOWER CASE. I fucking hate her guts. I like how Serkan was in control of his emotions and even tried to help Eda process through the surprise of events. It’s funny she think she’ll build a relationship with Eda by forcing her to marry someone and ruining Serkan. Ma’am give it your best try.
-Okay look. I’m completely on Serkan’s side regarding this. I understand Eda is taken aback by the grandmothers appearance but I think Serkan deserves better to just be abandoned. Again. They were finally moving on and getting to the point of making steps to fix their relationship and now suddenly Eda wants to run away.
-Not the grandma trying to make it seem like Eda wants to talk to her in front of Ayfer. Like woman, she was raised by Ayfer. Don’t play dumb games.
-I think Serkan has a plan on how to deal with Grandma. No way would Serkan Bolat let someone come in and threaten his company and his family. Even if he is changed and more softer now. Serkan does not mess around when it comes to work. I’m actually okay with Grandma threatening Serkan’s company because if that means we’ll get to have the smart, tricky, and always-one-step-ahead Serkan Bolat back. The one who ruined Kaan. The same one who was intelligent enough to dumb down his own presentation in order to work with Eda during their separation. I miss the fire and conflict that Serkan used to bring. I love soft Serkan but I want him to have his edge back, especially in regards to Art Life and the holding.
-That stand off between Eda and Grandma gave me life! Honestly Grandma knows how to make a threat, like even I was scared! But she doesn’t know Eda Yildiz like she thinks she does. Eda Yildiz has gone through too much loss to lose anyone else. And to give into anyone else. It’s clear that grandma has a soft spot for Eda. And I think somewhere deep down, Eda has a soft spot for grandma too that we haven’t seen. It’s clear that Grandma is going to use Eda’s love for Serkan as her weakness. I just hope Eda doesn’t give into it. Both her and Serkan have been through too much to lose each other now.
-Why does every other couple have honest, deep conversations about their relationship and problems and childhoods than Eda/Serkan? Jeren and Ferit have had a more direct and honest conversation about thier upbringing and struggles and relationship. Engin and Pyril had a honest conversation about theirs. And we’re playing back and forth and games with Eda/Serkan. This is absolutely ridiculous. Where as we should know more about Eda/Serkan as individuals and have more progression in their relationship, it’s the complete opposite. Don’t get me wrong, their games and back and forth is cute and I certainly enjoy it but there are so many missed opportunities for honest and deep conversations that would strengthen their relationship.
-You know what really confuses me? How Eda when she knocks at Serkan’s door, says she can’t be with him and she tells him nothing can happen between them all night but then she acts all touchy and girlfriend type with him. Like she’s so fickle with it, it makes me cringe. That man has been honest with her and is really trying and she like.... plays with him. It’s just so stupid.
-I knew that Balca was crazy but this bitch is straight up PSYCHO! The fact that she set all this up just to gain some sympathy points with Serkan!
-And people used to say Serkan’s pride is high? Have you seen Eda’s pride? She complains he’s not there but she won’t even call him or anything!
-I feel like Eda only wants to be with Serkan to spite the grandma. Because on one hand she’s like there’s nothing between them and then the next in front of grandma, she acts as if they are together. I know that she’s been through a lot and the grandma is a huge problem for her but she shouldn’t play around with Serkan. He has proven himself. Bettered himself. He deserves to be happy. She deserves to be happy. And clearly, they are happy. Together. So for once, can she throw her logic away and listen to her heart.
-Not at their happiness lasting 2.5 seconds. My babies really can’t catch a break.
Overall: it was an enjoyable episode. I’ve come to terms that SCK is going to be nothing but a mess. It’s all over the place. Both with characters and plot. But I will still watch it and enjoy it. I will complain about it too because honestly how can you not. I want nothing but happiness for both Eda and Serkan. I am so happy to see the growth in Serkan upto this point. The way he handled himself in this big situation with grandma. It was mature and responsible. He didn’t let his emotions get the best of him. I also understand Eda’s reaction to her presence. She has every right to be emotional and want her out of her life. I enjoyed Eda and Serkan scenes even though some of was absolute crap writing. It’s all really due to Hande and Kerem’s acting. And their ability to make me enjoy the scene even if it makes zero sense. Honestly I want a little bit of the old Serkan back. When it comes to his business. One of my favorite things about him was his ability to put people in their places when it comes to work. I want that same fire and edge when fighting grandma and fighting for his company. As for Eda, it is time for her to grown up and show some maturity. I could excuse her behavior toward Serkan because he did hurt her. He broke her trust. And her heart. And she had every right to question his love. But I think he has proven himself beyond point. She needs to make a decision because Serkan has a limit too. In all honesty, I have very low expectations from the show from this point on. I will just continue on this journey and hope for some enjoyable scenes.

Episode 23 Thoughts
Pre-warning:LOOK I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS EPISODE. Based on the trailers, we’re about to get some great EdSer scenes so prepare to be annoyed CAUSE MY JOY IS OVER THE MOON. Here we go!!!!
-Did Balca really welcome Eda into Serkan’s home? Like ma’am that is her man’s place, who the fuck are you to welcome her there! I’m glad that Eda didn’t attack Serkan for this but was just trying to figure out Balca’s moves and tactics! After all, a woman can recognize another woman’s intentions! Honestly, I’m not surprised Serkan doesn’t see it that way cause let’s be honest he’s not the brightest when it comes to understanding the intentions behind a woman’s words or actions. Look at Eda giving her a death glare like Balca, you messed with the wrong girl!
-Clearly Eda doesn’t consider her and Serkan in a relationship but I think in the end, the whole Balca thing will make her claim to be in a relationship!
-Damn, Selin was slimey in a way but Balca is a straight up snake and definitely poisonous! At least with Selin, I had a bit of a empathy but not with Balca! She really thinks she can one up Eda Yildiz and the girl gang! However I like that she’s kind of direct with her words and play because with Selin it was back and forth. Here she’s pretty obvious of her intentions with her questions. She’s clearly trying to get Eda and Serkan to think and fight about their “confusing” relationship. But hey if that leads to them actually talking it out and laying it all on the table, I’m here for it!
-Not at Ferit and Jeren having a more mature and honest relationship than our main couple!
-Eda was ready to cut that bitch! Not at Eda absolutely destroying Serkan’s leg! Eda and Balca throwing daggers each other while Serkan pretends to be oblivious 😂😂😂
-I think it’s funny how the way Eda was pointing out how Balca was trying to create similarities with Serkan is also how Efe was with his brunch a couple of episodes ago where he was trying to create similarities between Eda and himself. Back then, Eda didn’t make anything of it but she’s trying to use this now as a way of trying to prove Balca’s intentions. I kind of think it’s childish how Eda wants Serkan to make it clear to Balca he’s not interested but won’t admit she’s jealous.
-I know it’s just a drama but what kind of friend does Balca have! Why is it she’s encouraging Balca to go after a clearly taken man! Like more than Balca, I’m annoyed with her friend for such advice!
-Jealous Eda is so petty and flirtatious, I love it! The way she took his coffee cup, I’m dying laughing!
-I cannot believe this Balca bitch. Anyone that knows Serkan knows that his career and his work matters so much to him. She’s trying to break the trust between Eda and Serkan but in the end she’s gonna end up causing Serkan one of the greatest losses of his career. Just because of her idea of love, she’s willing to cause a great loss and chaos in his professional life. The one thing Serkan hates is to be lied to and manipulative moves. And she’s done both. Love? How can you be in love? You met him 2 days ago. And love what? She’s doesn’t love Serkan. She loves the idea of Serkan because of what her friend said. This bitch has some nerve.
-What the heck is up with Eda? For someone who’s all about being professional with each other, her asking Serkan to not look at the report was super unprofessional. Like this had nothing to do with her personally. As someone whose the boss and responsible for this project, he had every right to look at that report. I swear she really pissing me off. She tells him to be professional and that there’s no relationship and then she goes and does this. That was a manipulative move right there. In a way, she used his guilt against him just to satisfy her need. I’m sorry but that is just not acceptable. The way everyone would be going to town on Serkan if the roles were reversed. For someone who hates to be controlled herself, Eda sure walks around trying to control Serkan.
-BABAANNE!!!! The scream I let out! We finally see her! Omg! She’s here! I can’t believe it!
-Melo said bitch leave my Dada and Eniste alone! You go girl!
-The chair pull scene was absolute 🔥🔥🔥 their chemistry is EVERYTHING. That was one of the smoothest scenes I’ve ever seen. The dialogue. Serkan’s intense stare as he reads Eda. Eda’s changing expressions in being at the close proximity. This was perfection.
-Ughhhhh, I want Eda to just cave and give in one time to Serkan. Like lutfen, throw your pride away and just go for it.
-Not at them giving into Balca’s game so quickly. I hate it here.
-Everyone skating was so cute! It reminded of Antalya, like they let everyone just go out and do whatever they want!
-That Eda/Serkan ice skating scene OWNS my heart. To see them just be happy and in love and just being in the moment with each other. I loved every part of it. I loved the fact they were just staring at each other the whole time with their loving gaze. I loved Serkan’s plans for them in Paris. I loved that they just enjoyed each other’s company for the night. It was just perfect.
-Who the fuck is Pyril’s dad? I had figured that Pyril came from a wealthy background but the mysterious and rich/wealthy aura that his arrival had at their meeting has me concerned. Pyril clearly seems to have some problems within the home considering she spoke to formally to her dad. And the way that his car was guarded. And Pyril is usually very confident but here she seems vulnerable and scared. Who exactly is her dad? What does that mean for Engin and her?
-Honestly kudos to Eda for rechecking and finding the problem!
-And there they are. All face to face. The way I had waited for this moment for so long! And now the drama begins! I wish her entry was a little bit more dramatic and surprise but I’ll take what I get. Honestly right now it’s a toss up whether I think the grandmother will be good or bad. I know for sure she’s going to create problems for Eda/Serkan and be an obstacle for them but will that be it? Will her desire for revenge from the Bolat’s be stronger than the love she has for her granddaughter? Will she help Balca breakup our couple and risk hurting and losing trust of her Eda?
Overall: I really enjoyed the Eda/Serkan scenes the most in this episode. I don’t really care for whatever is happening with Ayfer really and at this point they need to take a direction with Erdem/Fifi cause I don’t even know what’s going on there. Also all those scenes with Balca’s friend were freaking annoying and pointless to me. Like stop with all these unnecessary scenes and storylines. Stick to the main plot which is finally in full gear and take it to the end. I look forward to the next couple of episodes and hope that there is some real progress now that Babanne has entered.
Fragman: Babaanne is clearly on a mission to separate Eda and Serkan and has some tricks up her sleeve and will clearly align with Balca to do so. However I have genuine hope that this strengthens Eda and Serkan and they stand as a united force. I’m looking forward to all the EdSer scenes because they look 🔥🔥🔥

Episode 22 Thoughts
-Serkan is so bold and direct in flirting, it catches me off guard! Like there is nothing to hide!
-The three wishes are so interesting! Serkan is smart so I know he’s gonna use those wishes to his best use!
-I don’t feel sad for Alptekin or anything but I do feel bad for Serkan. Here he goes, loosing another person in his life. That’s what’s upsetting me. This man has so much loss in his life. He just needs to be loved. Okay but like why did I get a bit emotional at the whole scene of Alptekin leaving. Also, I feel like his leave was kind of left open-ended? If you know what I mean. Like there is a chance of him making another appearance to help Serkan out.
-The thing that makes me sad about his leave is that we may now not get the full story on Serkan’s brothers death and his relationship with Alptekin and like we may not get a full picture of Serkan’s childhood. That’s what upsets me. I feel like they waited too much to open all that up. Now it’s like there will be pieces missing.
-Eda dug her own grave with Balca in my opinion. Since she’s so insistent, it’s gonna come back to bite her.
-THE POTTERY SCENE WAS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I’m dead. I cannot recover. I literally am having breathing problems!
-I don’t care about anything but Jeren being happy! And tbh, Ferit and Jeren are cute. I want them to be happy.
-THAT DANCE SCENE WAS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. They really slide into their own world.
-I HATE THE ENDING. I absolutely hate it. I cannot stand it. Ughhhhhhh!!!! Okay I told myself to give this Balca a chance BUT AFTER THIS, I WILL NOT TOLERATE HER! Also like what the fuck? Serkan just inviting her in and offering to buy her food! I suppose that’s supposed to show his changed behavior but like that ain’t what Serkan would do. And the look on Eda’s face. My baby is so shook. I really hope they use this to show growth in Eda. Like I really hope that this doesn’t turn into a huge fight and where she starts questioning Serkan’s love for her.
Overall: Honestly it was an enjoyable episode! It had ROMANCE, comedy, hint of fore play, back and forth, and major storyline changes! I genuinely don’t worry about Serkan falling for Balca or anything because I mean, do you see the way he looks at Eda. That man is so in love that nothing and no one else matters to him. I hope they use this Balca angle to strengthen Eda/Serkan’s relationship and not tear it down or downplay it. Anyway, I liked the episode and am excited to see what comes next CAUSE BABAANNE IS IN TOWN!
*Sorry this one is so short but I was trying to watch and enjoy the episode and didn’t really want to stop and comment too much. It’s been hard to find time to watch the show but hopefully I’ll get into more detail with the next episode!

Episode 22 Fragman 2 Thoughts
So I just saw the second trailer for the episode and I have some thoughts, so here we go!
-Clearly the focus on this episode is on Balca’s entry and what that possibly will mean for EdSer. Tbh, when I first heard about another entry, I was just frustrated because they don’t use any of the entries to their full potentials to create a change in the storyline or take it to another level. Like they really had us thinking Kaan was going to be a big problem and that wisked into dust. Then with Efe, they had such a potential to use him in a better way but they kind of played mellow with his character. There wasn’t like a clear direction with him and so his dialogues and stuff felt a bit flat to me. So while I’m assuming that Balca is introduced as a jealousy plot for EdSer, I genuinely hope they use her character to do more than just destroy EdSer. In the sense that, Eda and Serkan are finally standing on top of the ruins and trying to build their relationship back up. The love is there. The desire to be with one another is there. But there is still a lot missing. Trust in each other. Security with one self. Support of families. There is a lot of ground work and foundation that still needs to be formed for them to be a strong couple and I hope that they utilize Balca character to build that for our main couple instead of destroy it.
I have no worries about Serkan falling for her or even being attracted to her or anything. Like after everything Serkan has done for Eda and how far he has pushed himself, him falling for her would be absolute character sabotage. I, however, do worry that they might try to make Eda jealous and in that we see her question herself and Serkan. I think at this point, Eda should have complete faith in Serkan and his love for her. Like he really has changed for her and continues to improve. So if they plan to use this to make Eda question Serkan’s love and loyalty, I don’t even want it. Like that is absolutely inacceptable and thrash at this point. It’s obvious that Balca will try to get close to Serkan and clearly going to want to be with him. I would like for them to use this to show Eda’s growth. After Cenk, I think Eda gets very insecure when there are other woman around Serkan so she tends to become very childlike and immature in a way. I think it would be great to see Eda face her insecurity but also gain a greater sense of self-worth and appreciation for herself. Instead of making this into a crazy, jealous fight between two women, I hope they focus on Eda growing from this. Not only that, I want to see Eda trusting Serkan and in a way ‘fighting’ for him. I want Eda to be confident in her love for Serkan and Serkan and to stand up for her man.
- For some reason, I feel like Balca may be sent by grandma to breakup our main couple because she doesn’t want Eda to be with Serkan for obvious reasons. I think she may have used Efe to get Selin to give up her job and so now she’s bringing in Balca as a PR and her spy at the company. And in that, she wants Balca to breakup Eda and Serkan.
- The pottery scene is going to end me and I know it and I WANT IT. I AM READY FOR IT.
- I SWEAR IF BALCA IS THERE BEFORE EDA, I WILL FUCKING HURT SOMEONE. BECAUSE THAT IS NOT WHAT I FUCKING WANTED. I WANT EDA AND SERKAN TO BE ALONE. I don’t even know why Balca would just come to Serkan’s place like you just met him. BUT IF THEY PLAY THIS AS EDA WALKING INTO SERKAN AND BALCA TOGETHER AND THINKING THAT HE’S CHEATING OR SOMETHING, I WILL LITERALLY BE DONE WITH THE SHOW. Because I have taken a lot of hits when it comes to this show, but this is pushing it. IF BY THIS POINT INTO THE STORYLINE, YOU’RE TRYING TO PULL A JEALOUSY STORYLINE LIKE THAT WHERE THE MAIN LEADS DON’T TRUST EACH OTHER, THEN YOU HAVE NO STORYLINE AND NO STRONG LEADS.

Episode 21 Thoughts
-Okay everything hurts again.
-Tbh, I get where Ayfer is coming from. Her anger toward the entire Bolat family is justified. But I just feel poor for Serkan. Any hope I had about them getting along is long gone now.
-Not at them being petty toward each other not knowing that they both waited for each other! Fools, idiots!
-Bige is soooo beautiful! She looks so pretty with the hair and outfit!
-Not Serkan putting Engin in the middle of another crisis regarding Eda leaving! Give Engin a break!
-Do you know how distressed Serkan has to be to completely be absent minded at work. The man who’s always in control and does everything himself, not only asking for help from Ferit but trusting everyone else with work. What a sight to see!
-Also the subtext in that “It’s over.” I see you. Nothing is over!
-Eda really lets Selin get to her but she did put Selin in her place!
-Efe really trying to connect Eda and grandma. I really wonder what Eda’s reaction will be.
-Jeren giving Ferit the cold shoulder! You do you girl! But I do feel bad for him. He’s trying to talk it out but bless his soul, keeps running into dead ends.
-MY SOUL HURTS. That flashback scene and “gitme” really took me out. Serkan’s begging eyes. Serkan’s hurt eyes. Eda’s hurt eyes and restraining on her part.
-I genuinely felt a little sad for Selin. But I still cannot forgive her.
-Serkan/Engin conversation while he’s trying to eavesdrop 😂😂😂😂 The way he says I approve and then comes to his senses and says you cannot marry that way! Someone help Serkan Bolat!
-Not Serkan losing his last brain cell at hearing about Leila and Erdem’s engagement. He can’t take it no more. It’s too much.
-Jealous Serkan is so much fun, I love it! The way he is so bothered by Can’s compliments to Eda!
-The fact that that’s her favorite moment! The Airplane scene! I’m dying! And how natural her smile came out at the thought of it.
-THE ONLY ONE I’M ROOTING FOR THIS EPISODE IS JEREN!
-Do you understand how strong and mature you have to be to face a person and ask for forgiveness for a mistake that you didn’t make? And also listen to the other person’s anger and spiteful remarks/requests. Serkan’s inner strength and patience is admirable at times like this. Because it takes a lot to hear someone make a request that you find impossible to fulfill.
-I’m glad Ferit told Jeren everything. They really have a clean slate now. And Jeren is the most sensible in advising Ferit to be honest with Serkan. The old Serkan may not have understood and be quick to react and judge Ferit, but I think this Serkan would understand him hiding a secret to protect Selin and vice versa. After all, he did the same with Eda. So I think Ferit should tell Serkan the truth because Serkan is now coming from a place of familiarity. And if anything, it might help Serkan understand why Eda hasn’t forgiven him yet. Because lost trust is hard to earn back.
-Selin will leave I think with the offer Efe made! I think Efe is trying to even the playing field with shares for grandma so that she can take Serkan’s company. I think if Serkan ends up finding out about the press issue, it’ll be a big blowout with Selin and that will push Selin to sell her shares and grandma has an upper hand over Serkan as she enters their lives. Gosh, Efe is good at scaring everyone at ArtLife for working there.
-Melo playing Erdem like that, I love it!
-The way Eda said “See you, Serkan!” so nonchalantly took me out!
-Efe interrogating Fatima. Did not see that coming. He’s gonna use this to manipulate Ferit and get his shares! But Efe does know how to manipulate!
-The fact they had a whole ass conversation about their different perspectives on their relationship up to this point in front of everyone like no one else is there! But I’m also so glad that they resolved the misunderstanding about the restaurant so quickly! I’m glad they both of them understand now there’s hope! There’s a chance to fix this relationship! You see their smiles and eyes. That’s all either of them needed. Just an acknowledgment that they are still in love with each other. That both of them still want to be together. Maybe not right away and definitely not right now. But maybe at one point.
-Serkan talks so gently to Eda in these matters, it makes me lose my breathe. He’s so sensitive and calm, it’s so refreshing and beautiful to see!
-Serkan looking at Engin like he’s an idiot but still being supportive! I love these two’s relationship!
-For the first time in a while, Eda looked at Serkan with a true smile and flirty eyes! MY BABIES!
-WHAT A MESS OF A SITUATION! The way Ayfer was so over it. Aidan struggling to tie the knot for Engin/Pyril. Everyone thinking Eda/Serkan are tying the knot! Eda thinking Serkan was asking for Pyryl’s hand and getting mad. Engin finally snapping and loosing it! A FUCKING MESS! I LOVED IT!
-How I have missed them saying good night to each other! Take me back to those days!
-AYFER-AIDAN COMBO GAVE ME LIFE THIS WHOLE EPISODE!
-I really hope that letter contains the truth from Selin and Serkan gets to it. It would be awful to have it switched or anything.
-That red pant suit it TO DIE FOR!
-I AM FOREVER LIVING IN THIS LAST SCENE. I love that Serkan offered but didn’t insist on it. He immediately accepted when she said no and didn’t push her further. And then made sure she felt okay through it all. He was ready to get her out at any moment she wanted. And then guided her so tenderly through how to process and held her to provide comfort. But kudos for Eda for being brave to do so. Knowing her fear, she still pushed herself to do so. My favorite part was when Serkan tells her to open her eyes and she does, her eyes scream “I’m scared” without having to say it. And the way Serkan just understands. Eda just instantly finding comfort in his scent, in his arms. Genuinely all kudos to Hande for her portrayal of all these emotions in this scene. The way she portrayed the vulnerability, fear, yet reliance on Serkan in just breathing him. Hats off to her! AND THAT KISS. It was so tender and sweet yet intimate. It was absolutely perfect! It felt a little short but maybe it’ll carry a bit into the next episode
Overall: I haven’t been this satisfied with an ending in a while! WHAT AN EPISODE! Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode for the most part! Lowkey I love how Serkan was direct in all of this episode and Eda too finally opened her heart just a little bit to Serkan. I genuinely got a kick out of the whole Ayfer-Aidan situation! I’m a little surprised Efe’s exit was in such an anti-climactic way but I guess it’s to set up for Grandmother coming. But I AM SO HAPPY FOR MY BABIES! They may not be back together officially but at least they are back to friendly and flirty! They are living and thriving and that’s all I needed to see! I really hope the grandmother coming is soon because I think there’s no point in dragging this out. Let grandma and Alptekin drag each other to hell, as long as my babies are okay and happy!
Fragman: Serkan punishing Eda? Eda being frustrated cause he’s teasing her? New entry? I don’t really know! I genuinely hope this new entry isn’t like a Efe situation or tries to get in between Eda and Serkan. But I would love to see Eda getting a little jealous but then crushing her as she can!

Things I still want to see in Sen Cal Kapimi
-I want Serkan to give an answer to Eda for the question she asked in the summer house about the days that he made someone upset, was sad, and was happy. I was kind of frustrated that there was no direction with this scenario because it could’ve really taken Eda and Serkan’s situation at the time to another level. But I think even if they have this conversation right now, it would really deepen Eda’s understanding of Serkan and their relationship. I genuinely think it’s such a creative way of building on their characters.
- I genuinely need Eda to apologize to Serkan for always calling him a robot and unloving. One of the biggest hits Serkan has taken is being called that time after time. It was cute and funny in the beginning given their dynamic. But at this point, the nature of their relationship has changed and I don’t actually think it’s cute or funny to call him that. Not when he has shown such great progress in his emotions and character. How would you feel if Serkan called Eda immature or childish as he used to in the beginning? I wouldn’t like it one bit given that we have so much of her backstory and understanding of her upbringing. And the fact that she still considers him as being as his past self really holds Serkan back from being himself because it makes him want to be defensive at the idea of another person walking out of his life. I need Eda to tell Serkan that she sees that he is changing himself and she appreciates it. The least Serkan deserves is to hear that from the woman he calls the love of his life.
- I need a confession scene from Eda to Serkan. Full love confession. With the I love you and I can’t be without you. Give me all the angst and happiness. I also wouldn’t mind if Eda has to chase Serkan just a bit. I think it’ll be fun to see the back and forth in that way.
- I need Eda to stand up for Serkan in front of Ayfer. Bless my baby, he takes hit after hit from her. Someone needs to defend him. And I have high hopes that when the grandma comes, Eda and Serkan are united and they fight the grandma together.
I’ll probably think of like a billion other things that I want to see but I guess this is it for now.

Episode 20 Thoughts
-That hurt. That entire scene hurt me. The way Eda was listening and the pain and the realization of the truth so evident on her face. Serkan’s hushed tone as he talked. The way they looked at each other. The way they both are hurting. It hurt so bad.
-That is the most sensible thing Aydan has said and done to date. She knew Eda needed to hear it from Alptekin. She knew that Serkan getting involved would make it worse. And she’s also reminding Serkan that it’s not his fault. And for once, we see her trying to protect Serkan alone. Not Alptekin or the family name.
-The pain their eyes carry is so vivid, it pierces the heart. I think Serkan realizing that Eda means it that she would’ve forgiven him really destroys him because now he’s lost her trust. And he knows that’s very important for both of them. And Eda. Omg. Just her entire reaction was heartbreaking. Her breakdown in the car really tore me apart because she’s so helpless in that situation.
-Serkan going off on Alptekin was TOP NOTCH. He really said, I’m not playing around anymore. And I think he has every right. After everything, Serkan has every right to talk to Alptekin like that.
-OH MY GOD. SERKAN WENT OFF ON SELIN! THAT IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE MOMENT SO FAR IN THE EPISODE! I mean not only did he question her intentions on barging in, he straight up told her he loves and loved Eda only ever AND that they are just professionals, no friends! I swear, I felt like a whole wrong carried off my chest! I had been waiting for Serkan to draw the line with her and he did! I hope that Selin learns from this and remembers this the next time she tries anything with Serkan!
-That entire beach scene owns my heart. The way Eda is having to relive the pain of the accident and what it took from her then and what it’s taken from her now. You have to think. Eda’s pain from the loss of her parents never went away. She always felt their absence. But with her relationship with Serkan, she started to just gain someone who loves her. Who makes her happy. And just for a little bit, she was able to not worry about what she was missing, but what she had. And now she finds out that the same incident took away the people she has really loved, and she finds herself in the absence of those people. But I think what Melo said was so beautiful and so profound. That while her parents are gone, Serkan is still alive. Her anger and hurt is absolutely justified, but she can still be with him, past all this. I don’t think Eda really understands that in this moment because she feels that she can’t trust Serkan right now. But I hope there’s a moment in which this truly rings a bell for her, and she really starts to trust Serkan and starts to mend their relationship.
-It really breaks my heart that Serkan really spent all those days alone. No one there to be there with him in his sorrow. No one there to share the pain and the heartbreak with. He really only had Eda. And now she’s taken away from him as well. While, Eda has her friends, her girls to share it with. But even with them, there’s moments of pain and loneliness that just don’t go away.
-Awww, he asked them to water the flowers she planted!
-Of course she doesn’t want things to workout between Eda/Serkan, she’s been sabotaging everything to begin with! At least she’s honest about it now and isn’t putting up the good ex act anymore!
-The contract. I think Eda asking Serkan to sign it without even looking at it was kind of immature and unprofessional. Even between colleagues, you wouldn’t sign anything without looking at it.
-They took the damn rings off. I’m on the floor.
-You know who’s character has had great progress? LEILA! That girl was scared and had a breakdown after very single conversation with Serkan in episode 1 and here she is welcoming him and being happy at seeing him and directly asking about his love life! I have enjoyed seeing her gain confidence and flourish! Yes girl, you be direct with Serkan!
-SELIN, YOU BITCH! I WILL KILL HER.
-He really asked Aydan to talk to Eda cause he’s forbidden to, I’m dead! He really said I’m gonna do whatever she asks!
-Aidan is quite a mischievous yet smart business woman!
-Melo and Seyfi roast session GAVE ME LIFE! Dragging Selin like that!
-How can you not love this man? He said not my Melo! He don’t play around when it comes to his SIL! But his face at Engin telling him he can have Erdem! He about to crack!
-HE SNUCK THE RING IN HER POCKET!
-The way they were looking at each other and teasing each other through their eyes took me back to earlier episodes!
-Serkan hugging Erdem! THIS IS AN ICONIC SCENE! EVERYTHING ABOUT IT WAS AMAZING! Serkan’s reaction, Erdem scared look turned into confidence and playfulness with the situation to Eda laughing and not believing it! ICONIC!
-So fifi is from a rich background! I mean I figured she was but it’s good to get an idea of her background!
-Eda is very strong enough to stand in front of that man and confront him! It’s as if she’s reliving that experience but this time with all the truth and pain. And the way Serkan was looking at her, as if he could feel her pain just by staring at her.
-The way she reached out for him but had to restrain herself. The way her eyes were begging him not to leave. But her pain and anger are stronger in that moment.
-The way Serkan knows how to use the contract to his benefit 👏
-ALPTEKIN IS TRASH. Nothing will change that from this point on.
-I think the conversation in the car was so important. Serkan really has done everything Eda has asked and she’s noticed. Serkan telling Eda that’s there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for her is the LOUDEST WAY OF SAYING I LOVE YOU AND I’M ALWAYS GONNA BE HERE FOR YOU. I just am going to die.
-Serkan just watching her from afar was so sweet!
-Why are their mirror scenes the absolute best! I love it!
-Tbh, Ferit and Ceren’s back and forth was kind of funny and interesting to watch!
-Why do all the guys look like lambs waiting to be sacrificed!
-“I will catch you”. Somebody come pick me off the floor!
-THAT WAS SUCH A CUTE RUNWAY! They all looked so beautiful!
-SHE SWITCHED THE ADDRESSES! I cannot handle!
-OMG! I forgot Alptekin doesn’t know that Aidan can leave the house by herself and she was gonna surprise him because she was so happy! She wanted to share her happiness with him and surprise him! And HE FUCKING CHEATED ON HER! I HATE HIM!
-Stabbing me would’ve hurt less. They both waited for each other. Hoping that this would be it. That they could work it out and figure it out. He was ready to give he ring back to her. They would start over. And they took it away from me.
Overall:this was such a good episode! I laughed, I was upset, I was happy, I was in pain, I felt everything! I found myself really frustrated with the way Eda was treating Selena but then I had to step back and think from her position. That’s kind of what I like about this show. It really makes you step back and analyze very character from their perspective! I am ready for Serkan and Eda to get back because they have been apart way too long!

Episode 19 thoughts
- I love the boys vs. girls scenes! The similarly layered conversations that occur are an absolute delite to watch!
- Engin making Serkan PANIC over Eda finding another man! Like he really didn’t think so until at this point! But also, Melo trying to make her eniste really panic!
- Selin really trying to play house with Serkan.... *eye roll*
- Their individual monologues caused me pain. They want each other so bad. To only be each other’s. To only look and smile at each other. And yet, those words only remain in their hearts, unable to find escape into this world, held back by the circumstances they are currently entangled in. As true and bright as the day but hidden in the darkness of the night deep within their hearts.
- AIDAN PLAYING CUPID FOR EDSER? I begged for this and I’m actually receiving it? I’m shook.
- Ferit suspecting Efe? I was taken back by it, didn’t see that coming!
- KIDS IN LOVE, they are literal children in love! Their sarcastic responses give me life!
- The tension at that breakfast table would cause me so much anxiety!
- HE CUT THE BREAD FOR HER OUT OF HABIT....I literally can’t deal with them! They cause me too much pain!
- He’s gonna name that horse Eda. I just know it. And I’m gonna fall to pieces.
- My heart broke for Aidan after listening to the story. Her guilt toward the loss of her elder son was so strong and powerful that it caged her in her home. A mother’s pain is incomparable. It’s understandable how Aidan may have blamed herself for being missing in her son’s life and why she tries to be involved in Serkan’s. She wants to be involved and stay connected with her Serkan in a way she wasn’t able to for his brother. But by sending Serkan away at a young age by himself, she distanced herself from him. It’s not his fault he doesn’t trust anyone because the two people who he was supposed to trust in life abandoned him in trying to deal with their own pain while neglecting his needs. I’m not blaming Aidan/Alptekin because it’s his easy to judge from the outside. It’s such a deep and realistic way that these characters represent the dynamics and struggles of a traumatic event and the aftermath. Serkan’s inability to trust and fear of abandonment is real and justified based on his past. Aidan’s fear of leaving the house is justified due to the circumstances in which Alp died. Alptekin’s strictness toward Serkan can be explained by the fact that he lost his elder son (who he clearly named after himself) due to an illness and he fears he might lose Serkan too. Which also makes me think, did Serkan really have an illness in the past? I means he’s a bit of a hypochondriac but I’m thinking maybe just because of his brothers illness, Serkan got conditioned to thinking and living a certain healthy way to protect himself.
- I’m glad Aidan told Eda this because I think it might make Eda open her eyes a bit more. I’m not expecting Eda to forgive and forget but I think it might explain to her why Serkan is the way he is.
- If you ask me, Serkan was pretty fair in asking Efe to claim his mistake in front of the team. Serkan built and has lead this team to such a great standard and Efe ruined that in minutes. They rightfully deserved an apology. And Engin being pissed and backing up Serkan as the BEST FRIEND HE IS.
- Serkan being honest about his feelings and wanting to improve things with Eda was such a good thing to see. It may have taken him some time to get there but I’m glad that he’s come to terms with the fact that he can’t be without her. More so, he doesn’t want her to be with anyone else. Serkan is hopeful about their relationship and I think that’s the first time since their breakup. He isn’t trying to convince himself or anyone that they are over with completely. And I think what Engin said really resonated with him. If they can overcome the truth, it’s true love. If not, it’s over.
- His seriousness went out the window as soon as he realized the flowers were for Eda, HAHAHAH! He said burn the flowers! He’s such an idiot
- HE REALLY DRAGGED HER FROM THE CHAIR, I’M DEAD! freaking children behavior!
- Serkan is really trying to keep the truth from reaching Eda from anyone but him but everything really seems to be going against him! Let me tell you, my heart broke when Serkan mentioned his fathers mistake taking away Eda from him. He cannot catch a break!
- Aidan burning Alptekin’s clothes was so funny!
- Why is Selin trying to dig! Let my man Serkan handle this!
- Efe doesn’t know.... did I read that scene right?
- He’s gonna record their conversation! EFE, YOU SNAKE!
- SO IT IS THE GRANDMOTHER AMD SHE DID SENT EFE FOR REVENGE. But it seems like she wasn’t sure but sent Efe to investigate. She’s gonna use that recording to kill Serkan’s career! IT IS GOING TO BE NON-STOP DRAMA.
- Eda making Serkan jealous like that was hilarious! She really created a whole jealousy scene with that man!
- Eda and Aidan play off each other so well at this dinner, it’s hilarious! The way they are setting these ladies straight!
- The way his eyes lit up when she said she’s in love with him still! It’s like he can’t actually believe that! Idk but I found it weird how Eda didn’t want to even listen to Serkan as he tried to talk to her. I mean up until now, all she’s wanted is for him to talk and open up and now that he’s spent the whole day trying to do so, she just ignored his calls or runs away when the opportunity is there. It’s so not like Eda! I get that she’s given him chances before and he’s missed them and she probably doesn’t want to waste any more time giving him empty chances but I feel like Eda used to understand Serkan’s tone and words but it’s like... she just doesn’t recognize in his tone how much he really wants to talk to her. It seems like a character downplay to me for Eda.
- I’m not that invested in Ferit/Ceren, but that was cute, mostly because I want Ceren to be happy! But I swear, this whole Selin/Ferit crap ruins everything! My girl Ceren deserves better!
- He loves her so much, he’s just playing along with her! He’s so in love with her!he really just said have fun, but don’t dance with anyone! And THAT CONFESSION. He said everything with his whole chest. And she didn’t hear! They will be the death of me!
- He took the bottle! Lol bruh, you gonna need at least 2 bottles to get over this mess!
- Selin really trying to come on to Serkan while he’s drunk and he just straight up says, I need Eda. How does she not get the message!
- YES CEREN! YOU TELL HIM GIRL! I mean for real, what did he expect! But I will say I appreciate that Ferit was honest and didn’t lead Ceren on any further and just came out with it.
- HE IS SO DRUNK, I LOVE IT! Eda is fascinated by his drunk state, he’s so cute, she can’t help but melt! That was such a cute way of involving the title of the show! And that scene is sooo cute!
- Her carrying him up the stairs and complaining that he’s heavy. Him being wasted out of his mind and saying off the wall stuff. I LIVED FOR THIS SCENE. PURE COMDEY. PURE EDSER. I WANT MORE.
- THE SHOWER SCENE. That’s it? That’s all we get? I’M SOOO PISSED! The trailer made it seem like such a scene and then they give us this? The frack? That is unacceptable! That was such a wasted opportunity! THEY WOULD’VE KILLED THAT SCENE! AND HONESTLY IT WOULD’VE SAVED THE EPISODE! Ughhhhhhhhhh
- AHHHH SHIT! She got her hands on Eda’s family, that’s it. It’s over.
- See what I mean. Somehow, Eda didn’t understand Serkan. Serkan never really had a good way of putting with words but Eda understood and didn’t completely twist it around. I honestly think Eda’s jealousy of Selin really makes her so paranoid that she’s able to twist around to justify her insecurity in regards to Selin. Which I just don’t get. I mean Eda did have that kind of dynamic with Selin but she was never super jealous or anything. She always had a way fighting back against Selin and still being confident. I just can’t seem to understand where all of the sudden, it’s turned into this.
- It’s out. The secret is out. But definitely not how it should have been. It should not have been from Selin. Selin seems remorseful about it but I don’t buy it. And Serkan looks like his whole world just shattered. And bless Eda. She’s about to really go through it. The last scene was sooooo well acted! I loved the tension, the angst, the anger!
- One thing that I really need to see happen is Eda/Serkan working on their communication skills. Because they suck at it. They are both indirect and never really say what they want and mean straight up. Since the beginning both of them expect each other to understand with signs or by indirect words and it was cute at first but now it’s annoying. Like two people in love should be able to tell each other anything and SHOULD tell each other everything as it is, free from judgement. I don’t want an argument and then they make up in one of their houses. I want them to talk out their issues, their perspectives! Because both of them have quite opposite views and beliefs so it’s very important for them to say everything out loud to each other. Otherwise, their chemistry and relationship is just gonna be for a show and not hold real value and show and realistic aspect to it.
Overall: A really good episode even though some parts did feel lagged. So the big explosion (one of them) has happened. Now we wait to see the aftermath. Honestly at first I used to think that I would know how certain characters would react but now I don’t know. It’s not easy to say where they will take the characters or the storyline so we’ll see! Tbh, Hande and Kerem are really carrying this show with their scenes and acting so I would love to see them get justice with their scenes! The show at some parts feels like random and misplaced but it’s still enjoyable! Like there’s no need for all these side character storylines right now, like give Eda/Serkan their full scenes in full cut and let it play out! Once everything is more wrapped up, you can add the side storylines! It’s still an enjoyable and fun show and definitely makes me laugh and keep me on the edge of my seat but there’s just some moments when the magic seems missing!

Episode 18 Thoughts
-Eda having to pull him together and telling him that they will figure it out TOGETHER.... my heart hurts and I’m not even 5 minutes into this episode.
-HIS PASSWORD IS THE COORDINATES TO HER STAR? ROMANTIC ROBOT! That was literally soooo sweet!
-The little hint of happiness in Eda’s eyes when she proves that he’s innocent. She’s just so happy to prove to him that he didn’t make a mistake.
-Not at Eda thinking Erdem set up Serkan, lol girl it’s Erdem!
-MELO! I MISSED HER!-What’s Serkan’s play here? I’m confused.
-Alptekin does have a point. Aidan needs to take some responsibility. Both of them need to be parents to Serkan.
-I really don’t understand where this Selin/Eda fight came from. Like it doesn’t even make sense to me. First of all, Eda just downright saying that Selin is the culprit was just weird. And second, this fight and Serkan yelling at Eda for Selin. It all just doesn’t even seem right or true to the story. Idk, it just seemed like a weird turn to take at this point.
-If he takes that ring off because of what Ayfer said I’m gonna lose it! One thing, Serkan has always been kind to Ayfer regardless of the situations. He’s been honest and speaks to her with respect. He’s never avoided her confrontations or been dishonest or been disrespectful. He understands her concern as Eda’s guardian and takes it seriously and really listens to her requests.
-Okay say what you will, but the living together proposal between Engin/Pyril was cute! I know they are the most random couple and kind of weird but I actually love it! I wasn’t feeling it originally but I don’t know, I guess they are growing on me now!
-Aidan/Serkan scenes are my favorite! They just have the cutest mother/son relationship! Her gift to him is so adorable and heartfelt! As a child, there’s so much you being home and things you show your parents that you don’t think they will keep it or remember it. But the fact that she kept that drawing of his and other drawings just goes to show that she really loves her son.
-Melo trying to find a man on campus..... that is me.
-My jaw literally dropped when I saw Serkan show up at the library. My heart is already exploding!
-I SWEAR! The men on this show are so clueless about women! They share one brain cell! The way Ferit didn’t even pick up on Jeren’s mood, like bruh! I swear they are all useless! Jeren is a queen though for getting up and leaving rather than entertaining that conversation with Ferit!
-THE LIBRARY SCENE WAS EVERYTHING! I am so fulfilled! They gave me everything I wanted and more! Serkan trying to talk to Eda and Eda not having any of it and then Eda getting loud and confrontational while Serkan tries to get her to quite down! Only for him to get lost in her and observe her beauty and then getting kicked out! IT WAS PERFECT, PERFECT I SAY! Gosh I’m so happy! -The walking together scene was absolutely adorable! Eda always presents a new perspective to look at things and that’s what Serkan loves about her! His gift to her was very thoughtful! It seems very small and insignificant but it’s actually so thoughtful! It’s his way of showing his support in her educational efforts. It’s his way of expressing wanting her to have the best of the best when it comes to her career. It’s his way of saying he can’t wait to see her imagination come to life. ️
-I would have loved a longer walk sequence with them just walking in that beautiful atmosphere and talking about life as that beautiful background score plays on and on.
-The little smile Eda gives out after seeing their picture in the book. It’s like a reassurance that she’s still In his heart. That he still thinks of her. That he still remembers her. Because sometimes even when it’s all over, you hold on with the idea that you’re not forgotten. That parts of you might still be around. That the heart that was once open to you hadn’t closed yet. And maybe, just maybe, there is still a chance.
-Efe knows how to sweet talk and I can see him doing so and getting Selin to help him in his plans to take down Serkan.
-Ayfer/Eda/Serkan leaving the house scene was EPIC! JUST CANNOT HANDLE IT!
-Serkan’s reaction to seeing his mom in his house and the way he looks at Eda like a blessing he doesn’t deserve! THEY HAVE MY HEART.
-Aidan saying what we all were thinking! Girl go live in a hotel, why you moving into Serkan’s place!
-I REALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE GONNA KISS. The close proximity. The little tease smile from Eda. Serkan leaning his head forward. They really fooled me. My heart almost gave up!
-SERKAN NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO SAY NO TO SELIN. Man really said yes let’s have dinner together. Because the love of my life already doesn’t hate me enough and suspects me, let me go have dinner with you in front of her! I swear to god. One brain cell. All the men share one brain cell. And right now, Ferit it the one carrying it around.
-Eda using her conversation with Efe to mess with Serkan was hilarious! And his jealousy was just clown behavior!
-As much as I hate Efe, his style is so cute! The way he dresses! I would love to see Serkan dress like that! Like the suits and the dressing up looks good but it’s be nice to see him in a different attire.
-Efe just confessed? Just like that? And that’s it? That’s all we get? Eda just saying okay. Eda made such a big deal at the beginning of the episode and knowing Eda’s character, she wouldn’t have just let him off the hook. It’s unusual that Eda tries to stop Serkan from being direct with Efe. I wanted more from this reveal. After all, Serkan has every right to be pissed and every right to go off on Efe. I know Eda is grateful to Efe for the opportunities he’s provided her but it just doesn’t make sense that she just let him off the hook that easily. It just doesn’t.
-Well that was very non-dramatic ending.
Overall: Okay so like this episode definitely had some issues but overall it was still enjoyable! It didn’t have me at the edge of the seat the whole time but I enjoyed the seeing the progress in a lot of the relationships and dynamics of the show! I think in this episode, they strayed a bit from Eda’s character and I hope they get back onto the proper route!
Fragman: HOLY FUCK. The first scene in the fragman. My mouth dropped to the floor. I’m excited but I’m also nervous. I genuinely hope that Selin doesn’t find out the truth before Eda does because that would be unfair! Eda doesn’t deserve to hear the reason behind her breakup with Serkan in an accidental way and that too from Selin’s mouth. There’s clearly a big confrontation between Eda/Serkan which seems to heading in the way of Serkan telling Eda the truth and I hope it continues on that route. I would gladly just accept Serkan being honest with Eda about his feelings and reassuring her that there is nothing between him and Selin in this episode. I don’t want Eda to think that Selin and Serkan are a thing and then on top of that find out the truth. I think she needs to first be assured that Serkan love her and her only and then proceed with telling the truth. For some reason, I think Selin barging in like that between their confrontation will be the end scene. I feel like the truth might actually be revealed in the 20th episode of anything.

List of storylines that still need to be shown
-Kaan/Serkan issue: I know Kaan is no longer part of the show but I think it’s so weird that we never got a backstory on thier friendship and their conflict. Like it was such a big part of the story in the first few episodes and there was like no reveal or anything else about it. I still wanna know what exactly happened there. -Serkan’s brothers death: I think by now we should have already known what exactly happened regarding his death. Like there have been a few mentions but I think revealing it now would greatly add to Aydan/Alptekin character and also be a great source of understanding Serkan’s past. I hope they don’t drag this out or completely forget it. I need to know exactly what happened to know the story about the Bolats. -Serkan’s health concerns: I want to know exactly what the whole deal with this. Was Serkan seriously sick at one point? Or is he a bit of a hypochondriac? I think they like have completely forgotten about this bit of the story. And I think it would be a perfect opportunity to reveal it to see Eda’s reaction/concern. -Grandma’s role/Eda’s issue: I think we should already know a little bit more about the backstory on this one. I think it should be revealed before the grandmother actually shows up because I don’t want that to be lost in the storyline of her presence.
As much as I am enjoying the current track,I think it’s a little bit too late in the show to be just adding random tropes in the thick of the plot like this. I think there are already too many open tabs that need to be addressed properly for them to be just throwing another one in their. If anything, they could’ve said the fake pregnancy storyline for after they reunite maybe toward the end of the series. It’s not like I expected everything to revealed all at once and I understand that we needed filler episodes after the explosive breakup scene to give the story/characters time to grown and move a little on but I hope that they don’t wait too much before they finally reveal the truth to Eda.

Eda/Serkan
Okay but my heart hurts just thinking about Eda/Serkan when the truth does come out. Eda is going to be supportive and be there for him while he tried to figure out where his “mistake” was regarding this roofing incident. She’s not gonna let him spiral and blame himself and watch him crumble. And on top of that, she’s gonna help bring Aydan out of the house to him. Eda has done so much for his family and him. And she doesn’t know the truth. And that’s what’s going to break my heart. When Eda discovers the truth and realizes that the whole family knew and hid it from her, it’s going to be absolutely heart shattering. Eda has given to this family whole heartedly only in turn to have her heart broken. And that’s what’s going to hurt. To see her be so hurt. To see her in pain. To see that the family that she’s helped put together in a way is the one who took hers away. I know Serkan is not at fault for the incident so he shouldn’t have to take on responsibility for it but from Eda’s perspective he knew the truth behind one of her biggest pain and he hid it. You can’t expect her not to blame him. And I mean Serkan. I can’t even imagine the pain and guilt Serkan will go through. To have the person whose heart you broke fulfill one of your greatest wishes, that too without asking or any expectations, it’s going to eat him alive. He’s already so grateful to Eda but this is just another level. The angst is absolutely going to wreck me. Because there is no downplaying the chaos that this will cause. There is no soft way to go about this. Things will go up into flames. All we can hope is that when the flames die down, there is still something left to salvage. I know that Eda and Serkan’s love is new and just starting to flourish but they have something magical in between them. It’s strong but subtle. They aren’t all up in your face with it. They have struggles, problems, things they have yet to progress through. But who doesn’t? Even through the hate, through the pain they are going through, they care for each other on a cellular level. And I can only hope that we get to see them survive and come out of this with a stronger, powerful, united love.

Episode 16 Thoughts
-The way he’s so concerned when she starts acting nice to him  he’s so worried and already knows she’s gonna be mad at him when she remembers everything
-When she caresses his face...... he literally is in shock but melts at her touch....
-He literally was at peace with her laying on his shoulder. Well that peace lasted like a second..... the way he said “Welcome back Eda Yildiz” I was cracking up
-The way Pyril wears the pants in he relationship with Engin, I freaking love it! And he just follows whatever she says!
-The way Serkan got his way for once with Eda, lol I was expecting him to drive her home as she always gets her way
-They are so petty toward each other, I freaking love seeing them bicker
-THEY WERE SO HAPPY AND IN THE LOVE BUBBLE..... I literally will die for their happiness! Their smiles, touches, small domestic life..... they deserved it all! THE FLASHBACKS WERE EVERYTHING!
-The freaking bed scene. They are literally everything. They are so gentle with each other. The way Serkan just admired her first thing. The way they caressed each other. I just literally will never get over this.
-I don’t know why but Ayfer’s behavior toward Serkan has always bothered me. I know that as Eda’s guardian she has a right to be upset but I swear, it just bugs me the way she speaks to Serkan most of the times.
-Serkan said, split the holding and take Eda with you? NOT UNDER MY ROOF.
-He didn’t even wait and straight up went to ask her about it. Sir, you are impossible.
-Serkan is getting to Efe, I love to see it! Efe was a little too put together and calm when introduced. Now that we’re seeing him a little unraveled, I kind of interested to see what trouble he is going to bring. Serkan has always said he likes chaos so it’ll be fun to see Serkan respond chaos created by Efe.
-Engin having to do God’s work in this entire situation to get the boys night together! Someone give that man time off cause I’m sure he needs it. Engin activating Serkan’s OCD was absolutely hilarious
-“There is another Efe behind this”. I have a bad feeling about this.
-Erdem’s entry into the party made me die of laughter
-HE SHOWED UP.
-Drunk Eda is so cute and even more wild
-Serkan sacrificed his love and happiness to maintain peace for this family, for his parents. The least they can do is respect is decision to leave as Alptekin suggested. And I think Aidan should be understanding and for once do something for Serkan like working on going outside. I know she has her own trauma that prevents it and I’m not trying to undermine that, but why must Serkan sacrifice everything. As his parents, they need to step up and support his decision and change their ways to help their son move forward.
-I don’t know why but I found Eda/Serkan dancing together a little bit out of no where. Like she just called him an insensitive robot and next thing they’re in each other’s arm. Like I felt like a lead up to it was missing. And also it just felt like that could’ve been directed better! Don’t get me wrong, I loved what we got to see but like the magic wasn’t the same that existed between them in the 3rd episode. Maybe if it was a little bit longer and we got to see more of them being just entranced then it would’ve added up. I loved seeing Eda’s face and reaction to it but I just felt like it could’ve been better.
-Listening to the lyrics of the song as they danced just made me love that scene more than I can explain. It just perfectly captured the feelings of these two. A+ for that song choice and scene
-EVERYONE IS HUNGOVER, they all got plastered!
-Secret partner? From Mardin? Grandmother’s entry is in motion and I AM READY FOR IT!
-She dragged his ass to go see the garden! Lol Serkan why do you even bother trying to say no to Eda? You know she gonna get her way!
-I was gonna say Aidan is selfish for reaching out for Eda’s help but I can’t help but feel for her. She doesn’t want to hurt Eda and reach out but Eda seems to be the only one who has been able to help Aidan. I just feel like this is gonna worsen Serkan’s guilt. Serkan wants his mom to finally go outside but Eda helping her will just increase his guilt toward Eda. But also he’ll feel guilty toward Aidan for cutting off her source of support in overcoming this. I just feel for him because no matter how hard he tries, Eda and him become connected and a part of each other lives in so many ways and through so many dynamics.
-Now Eda knows there was a reason. And she is not going to stop until she finds out the truth. There is keep this a secret anymore Bolats, it’s time for Eda to know.
Overall: I enjoyed the episode even though it was a bit lackluster. I feel like EdSer really carried the episode by themselves. I know everyone has been complaining about the editing of the episode and the spoiled ending and tbh I’m frustrated with it too because I know we could’ve had some amazing and magical choice of direction but I’ll take what I get! My only request it that when things hit the fan, and EdSer reunite, IT BETTER BE DONE RIGHT. I will not excuse a bland, half-done truth reveal or reunion.
Fragmans: I FREAKING LOVED THE FRAGMANS! I was a little confused when the first one came out cause I was like how the heck are we going from the ending of this episode to a pregnancy trope but I’m interested on how they exactly bring it into this. At the end of the day, I’m just gonna enjoy watching Serkan get overprotective of Eda and everything that comes along with that. But let me tell you, the 2nd fragman TOOK ME OUT. I was literally hyperventilating when I saw that one. When she grabbed his face, I like fell back. And Serkan looks like he’s going to crack and break down right there. I don’t think that Serkan tells her the truth. If anything, I think he’ll hurt her again the same way he did with the breakup, just trying to come up with an excuse to stay away. But I think Eda won’t buy into it this time. It’s really hard to say exactly what will happen but I think the truth reveal might actually be in the 18th episode. They’ve dragged it out a bit by this episode so I hope they don’t keep dragging it out. I think it NEEDS to come out at this point and let things fall where they may.
