Mister Reagan, Look at This Painting and Think on how Heavy and Unwise This Atom Is... by Maria Prymachenko, 1986
Prymachenko was heavily affected as an artist by the Chornobyl Nuclear Disaster and dedicated several paintings to the subject. In her work, she portrayed nuclear power similar to her depictions of war - as a wild untamable beast that hungrily devours nature.

Have you ever seen or imagined an underground bunker school?
Shit seems straight out of some anti-utopian future fiction. Yet, a reality in Ukraine🫤

Ukraine, Kharkiv. A young firefighter is crying right after russia cynically killed his father — a 52-year-old rescuer. A psychologist is trying to support and calm him down a little.
The deceased Vladyslav devoted his life to work in the fire service. His son, Volodymyr, also following his father's example, became a firefighter and worked as a guard chief at a nearby fire station. On this hellish night, after the first explosions where the russian missile hit, the father and son along with their colleagues immediately went to the scene to start a rescue operation, during this operation the russians struck a second time.
via State Emergency Service of Ukraine
as I said earlier, the russians act as terrorists, according to the methodology of terrorism. russia proves every day that it is a terrorist state.
never forget that russia is a terrorist state.

Night time air raid. Kharkiv is being attacked with ballistic missiles, there had been 15 missiles already! It's like russians are trying to destroy the city to the ground along with everyone living there. There has been no electricity for days in the city and in the region, the infrastructure is damaged almost beyond repair.
We're at the shelter as well here in Kyiv because all of Ukraine has had an air raid alert because of the long distance guided missiles. To remind you, these are the ones that can change their trajectory at any time. Part of them are flying through the Kyiv region rn, hopefully everything will be okay. I'm still having my seminars and lessons in the morning though, plus it's the middle of the night, so here is a picture of our dog, mom and me napping on the floor of the subway station.

This is one of the drones russia uses to attack Ukrainian cities, by the name of "shahed". We also call it a "moped" unofficially because of the characteristic rumbling noise it gives off while flying. It is used to target civilian living blocks, infrastructure and power plants. I personally have heard the noise of these drones during air raids in my city. It's haunting to hear one flying outside your windows. It sounds just like a motorcycle, like an old car. People living in more frequently attacked cities say that the sound gets louder as the drone closes in, and then turns silent as it falls towards the building to ensure the worst damage. These are kamikaze drones and russia gets them from Iran, buying those in huge amounts.
The picture was provided by the National Police of Ukraine, while searching for drone debris in Vinnytska oblast (region) after an air raid.
