Tech: Crosshair, please hold still.

Crosshair: Speak for yourself.

Tech tends a deep wound in Crosshair’s forearm after a nearly disastrous mission to destroy a shield generator. Crosshair was so focused down-range on his brothers, that he didn’t notice the commando droid sneaking up in him until it was too late to dodge it completely. Tech asks Crosshair to keep still, but it’s actually Tech who is trembling because he’s so worried about Crosshair. 💗

Brief Guide for Star Wars Writers

DC-15A Rifle:

Used for formal events and ceremonies, and as a sniper rifle in the field.

DC-15A Carbine:

A short rifle used in most combat situations during the early days of the Clone Wars.

DC-15S Rifle Carbine:

A stretched out version of the '15A Carbine, easier to hold and to aim. Patented in the middle of the clone wars and afterwards saw widespread distribution throughout the GAR.

DC-17 Hand Blaster:

Small pistols, typically dual-wielded, but some clones (like Commander Gree) carried only one. Versatile and lighter and better suited to small spaces than the DC-15 series weaponry, at the cost of a shorter range of fire.

Z-6 Rotary Cannon:

A Big Fucking Gun (TM), heavy and unwieldy, especially unsuited for close range. Best for large scale battles in wide open areas, such as Umbara before the jungle. Used by clone heavy gunners like Hevy and Hardcase (pictured above). Does not have a stun setting like the DC series weapons do.

For the @codywanfirstkissbingo, I had "butterfly kiss" on my card.

I wanted to do a close up of lashes brushing against cheek but it was a nightmare and it ate all my remaining time until the deadline.

I turned it on its head later on by... putting in butterflies 😆

Finally got that lineart done for LOUD. Cody! Since it’s cyberpunk, the battalion number is shown on a screen, as is the general status of the clone inside the armor. As there is “deployed”, “alive”, “critical”, “dead”, and, to Cody’s puzzlement, “activated”.

Since my bday is over, we’re back to our regular schedule. Last, linear time we saw Cody and Obi-Wan in LOUD. they both got into a rescue shuttle while Grievous got turned into space confetti.

Cody is warm against his back when the Force cries out screams lashes its despair into Obi-Wan’s mind like a whip.

The moment he startles awake from the light doze, Cody’s arms around him tighten into a vice.

“There you are,” Cody says, hisses like a satisfied snake, and it’s his voice but not and Obi-Wan is too tired and exhausted after dealing with Grievous and wrapping the Malvolence like a gift for Mace and Cody, Cody, Cody—

“I am arresting you for treason against the Emperor,” Cody says, says like a droid, empty and hollow and what the kriffing stars is going on.

“Let go,” he taps against Cody’s thigh and is put on his front for the trouble, arms pulled behind his back roughly.

It clicks with the first handcuff that— Cody

Cody has betrayed him.

Before the second click, Obi-Wan bucks up, turns, and he’s got the length connecting the cuffs around Cody’s neck. Kicks into Cody’s knee and weight into the make-shift garrote. Perhaps unconsciousness will grant them time for explanations and they can work through this.

Mind churning, whirling, puzzling, how could Cody do this, who is driving him to do this because surely—

How could Obi-Wan not see—

Cody falls back into him, grips Obi-Wan’s hand holding one cuff link, grips it hard, and hits against Obi-Wan’s other, still cuffed arm.

The cuff’s chain breaks, so does Obi-Wan’s wrist, and playing nice is over.
