I’m glad I managed to do something for ZaDr Day aksjaksjaks and I played a lil big with perspective and lighting. And also with Zim’s PAK legs! I just love the fact that they’re purple in ETF, I loved it. Mostly because I’m a sucker for purple aksjaksjajs

College Dib and Zim may have a cute couple dynamic, the “Eternal Lovebirds” kinda dynamic… But they still fight a lil bit. Sometimes just for the sake of roughousing a lil bit and warming up for some nice kissing sessions such as in the picture.

Zim, pushing box tied up in cloth further into the room: Lunch.

Dib, raising an eyebrow: … what?

Zim, pushing it further in: I got you lunch. It’s lunch. For you to eat. It’s for you. Got it for you. It’s a lunch.

Dib, a bit tense: Uh, you already got me sandwiches for the whole week, I’m set.

Zim, retracting the PAK leg, antennae peeking over windowsill: The week is up, I know you’re all out of sandwiches.

Dib, sighing, trying to ignore the faster beating of his heart: Look, I don’t need this, I can feed myself.

Zim snorts loudly: Good joke, human. I know you. You suck at taking care of yourself.

Dib, miffed: Well I can! I’ll get my own food from now on, you don’t need to get me anything else.

Zim, peering over the windowsill at him: You got any monies left to buy food with?

Dib, biting his lips: ….no…

Zim, getting a PAK leg out to push lunch further into the room: Then for now this is all you have.

Dib, blushing will embarrassment: Look it doesn’t matter if I don’t have money right now, it’s happened before, I’ve dealt with it! I don’t need your offerings, I know you and I know you’re not doing this out of the goodness of your heart.

Zim, staring intensely at him: How can you be so sure?

Dib, raising eyebrows, almost offended: Zim! You don’t have a heart! You literally can’t do anything out of the goodness of it!

Zim, grumbling, antennae dropping: I’m… I don’t wanna fight you when you’re so weak you’re close to passing out just by climbing one of my machines. That’s no fun.

Dib, defensive: That was one time.

Zim: It was at least three times.

Dib, dismissive: Who cares? I still kick your ass every time! What kinda dumbass wants their enemy to become stronger when they can’t even beat them when they’re weak!

Zim, blushing, defensive: I am an Irken Invader, Dib! We’re a proud race! I’m not gonna be agreeing to fight a weaker version of a great adversary, where’s the glory in that?

Dib, chuckling: That’s an unexpectedly honorable take on it, considering how many times you didn’t hesitate to stab me in the back.

Zim, grunting: You always stabbed first. I was just making things even.

Dib, angry: Oh, so I’m the bad guy now! Well excuse me for not playing fair when THE FATE OF MY WHOLE PLANET RESTS ON ME STOPPING YOU BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!

Zim, hearing yelling and wanting to yell as well: HOW ARE YOU GONNA DO THAT IF YOU’RE CRUMBLING ON THE SPOT FOR LACK OF ENERGY?! GET THE STUPID FOOD AND SHUT UP, YOU FOOLISH HUMAN!!

Dib, sighing, glancing at the box on the floor: What is this really about, Zim? You know I’m not eating anything you dare lace with drugs, you know I have ways to detect it.

Zim, calming down: I know. I haven’t laced any of the food I’ve given you so far, did I?

Dib, lips pressed in distrust: What then? are you trying to fatten me up like a pig for the slaughter?

Zim, chuckling: Heh, maybe. I sure could go for some bacon right about now.

Dib, blushing, taken by surprise: Uh…you can’t eat meat, what… what?…

Zim, blushing also: There’s such a thing as candied bacon.

Dib, eyebrows raised: Wait, there is?

Zim, smiling: Yeah, found a recipe for it the other day.

Dib, sneaking a look at the box: I…is there candied bacon in there?

Zim just chuckles once more and leaves, scaling up the building walls and leaving through the rooftops.

Dib, staring at the box again:….👀

ZiM hiding under Dib’s bed (After he finally deemed him well enough to remove the cuffs) and reaching out for a sugar packet dropped for him

The time ZiM blew up the oven when trying to harness the power of the sun to make cookies for their home ec project

And then, the aftermath of the time Dib had to chase ZiM half way across the country in his car because ZiM got overly attached to their “baby” for their partnered parenting project and ran away with it

Back to the Dib Smell thing:

I kinda imagine Irkens, like ants (ant-inspired headcanon #453) have a strong sense of smell, the ability to identify people and things by smell, as well as an affinity to certain scents/aromas.

So, in the case of Dib using body spray and deodorant now that he’s a sweaty teen, ZiM, having spent years getting used to the natural scent of his emotional-support-human, would clearly be upset.

Especially since the body sprays Dib uses is AXE smell DISGUSTING
