S: Fine. I’m fine. 

Z: Why did you call all of a sudden? 

S: Just… I was thinking about you. How are you holding up, staying inside?*

S: That was three months ago, Zoë.

S: So, we’re online. It’s not like I can start kissing you, or something like that. No stress.

S: Zoë, I know you. When you start making cynical remarks like that, I know that you’re either insecure or having a hard time. Is the lockdown getting to you? Is that it?

S: The usual, I guess. Watching shows, I’ve been working out a little. All that crap.

Note: Belgium has been in what we call “lockdown light” for a couple of weeks now. It’s unclear when schools will be open again, and kids can go back to school.
