Flashback to 70 years ago. That would’ve been a Palestine flag with the cities Yafa, Haifa, Akka, and many more next to it. I truly don’t think snapchat should have posted this story because it falsely portrays a perfect “tel aviv life” there when really it’s a land of bloodshed and forbidden to thousands of Palestinians whose roots are tied to this land. The majority of Israelis in this story aren’t even from the city itself. Please give a real story not fake ones of perfects lives and happiness. Give a nonfiction story.

You don’t ever have to feel guilty for saying no. You don’t have to give your time to people who think they’re entitled to yours; people who think they’re entitled to you. You deserve to set boundaries and have them respected. You deserve to distance yourself from people who make you feel uncomfortable and anxious. You deserve to be assertive and defend your needs. You deserve to make your wellbeing a priority. You get to choose who you spend your time with. Its not selfish. It’s self-care. And you have every right to take care of yourself.

Vittorio Arrigoni (4 February 1975 – 15 April 2011)

Was an Italian reporter, writer, pacifist and activist. worked with the pro-Palestinian International Solidarity Movement (ISM) in the Gaza Strip, from 2008 until his death. Arrigoni maintained a website, Guerrilla Radio, and published a book of his experiences in Gaza during the 2008–09 Gaza War between Hamas and Israel.
