Its 1am. and your boyfriend still hasnt came home yet, you felt worried for him thinking he might be overworking himself again like he always does you were stressed and sad and all you wanted was to be in your boyfriends arms cuddling and kissing him.

you decided to go to the company he works at and visit him if anything happened to him.

“looking for yeonjun right?” the guard asked, obviously its not the first time this happens. you entered the building and heading into the elevator to go to the 10th floor where all the practice rooms are located.

you arrived at the floor full of practice rooms looking at the small window on every door to see if hes in any of them till you reached the 5th door, you see his figure dancing infront of the mirror. you slowly opened the door to not get his attention while you admired his dancing skills.

his whole body started to sweat his black tank top soaking it all up, he took a break and sat down for a bit, you approached him

“hi love” you smiled and sat by his side “baby what are you doing here?” he said while you looked at him his hair disheveled and some hair strands sticking onto his forehead from his sweat “I was worried since you didnt come home early so i kinda um stressed out and decided to see if you were here” you frowned, “oh angel…” he said in a low voice “Im sorry jagi its just this one move in this choreo im practicing for tomorrow’s performance” he added

“you’ve been working so hard lately” you pouted knowing your boyfriend has been overworking for the past month for their new cb, “I know..i promise ill make it up to you” he smiled and grabbed your wrist making you stand up and placed his hand on your waist pulling you closer to him.

“even though your full of sweat right now I’d still hug you” you giggled and hugged him tightly while he pressed a kiss ontop of your head “I love you so much angel” he smiled “I love you too jjun..”

soobin strolls around the entire university campus, looking for a spot to just sketch. but there would always be someone bothering him, he wouldn't say it out loud, but the nosiness of college students pissed him off. looking for a perfect place led him outside of the campus. walking down the street, he spots a tiny entrance, draped in warm lighting, a neon red sign that said 'centennial jazz bar', it blinked a few times, either that sign knows soobin needed a spot to sketch, or there's something wrong with the electricity in this building. either way, he's intrigued. he craned his neck around to see if there's any employees that could guide him in. but all he's hearing is a smooth saxophone instrumental, and that led him inside, like a cartoon character smelling fresh baked goods. he looked around, the interior being mostly made out of glossed over dark wood, the lights colored the place in a warm white. there was obviously a drink bar, and some tables. the place was not so full of people, most look to be regulars. this is the perfect place. customers weren't loud and this didn't look to be a party type of bar. he was relieved and sat down at a table, and brought out his phone and clicked on the notes app, typing in the establishment's name to save for the next time he needed a place to go. he reached into his backpack, and placed down his essentials. a small notepad for some throwaway sketches, a pencil case, and his sketchpad. the woman on stage prepares for a song, stepping up to the stage in her dazzling dress, she gently wraps her fingers around the metal of the microphone, the melody of her voice echoes in the room, when she began singing the lyrics to 'isn't it romantic?' by ella fitzgerald, it was like the bar was a whole new place, like it was a whole new era. soobin doesn't even notice himself staring, the pencil hasn't even touched the paper, it's like he's frozen in place.

she's looking back at him too.

his heart's pit-a-patter slowly grows louder in his ears. he's not sure if it was sort of a revelation, but he felt the need to capture this image of her, not just in his heart and eyes. in his sketches, in his assignments, in his projects, he doesn't even know her, but he just feels the need to have a little prescence of her everywhere. the lead of his mechanical pencil touches the paper of his sketchpad, he quickly strokes lines, waves, circles, anything to possibly accurately illustrate her, without knowing, he's filled a page with her, just her. in the time that passes by, while he's aggressively sketching his way into a restraining order, or a romance he's always needed but never wanted, she starts to step off stage, and starts approaching him.

"i've never seen you here before, you new here?"

her voice echoes in his ears, he stops the movement of his pencil for a bit, before slowly looking up. it's her. the pencil lead stains on his hand are visible, as he awkwardly extends his hand to her for a handshake.

"oh, yeah, uh, i'm a university student at hybe u, studying fashion, aha.."

as she was about to shake his hand, he retracts it, and brings out some wet wipes from his bag and wipes the stains off.

"oh my god, sorry, it's just my hands are dirty because of the—"

she takes the hand he was wiping the dark lead smears off of, and shakes it with the sweetest smile he's ever seen.

"it's okay. i'm (name). and i go to hybe u, too!"

she turns her head to his uncovered sketchpad, full of sketches of her. he immediately shuts the book closed with a blush that anyone could see.

"were those sketches me? those are so cool!"

"yeah. uh, i just like your outfit.. oh, i'm soobin, by the way."

she points at his pencil case beside his sketchpad.

"do you mind if i borrow something from there?"

".. sure.."

he hands her the case, and she opens it, rummaging around, his different stationary clinking around. she finally found what she was looking for, a pen. she takes the hand she shook earlier, wrote her number on his palm, and closes his hand.

"there! now, i've gotta go!"

she rose from where she was, and waves him goodbye, her white maxi skirt swishing around as she walks and exits the bar. soobin just sits there, shell shocked. he now has the number of a girl he'd just met, and some embarrassing memories he'll never forget. guess he won't have to worry about the creepy sketching. he spent a few minutes, not even bothering to put all his things in his bag. then he realizes,

"she.. she stole my best lineart pen."

he opens his palm, and read what she wrote.

'if you want me to return it, or just meet me, call this number! i won't return the pen until you contact me :)'

you and your boyfriend were laying down together on your shared bed as he was scrolling on his phone while you were looking at him.

He noticed you staring at him for awhile “does my baby need attention?” he said, you nodded your head as he pulled you into a hug cuddling you and pressed kisses on top of your head, “i wanna go outside today..” you mumbled to him “where does my angel wanna go today?” he nuzzled his face in the crook of your neck as you felt his breath on your neck while he spoke.

“theres a sanrio shop that opened recently!! we should go there” you smiled as you said that “can we go?” you added “of course darling, you know I’d listen to you anytime” yeonjun responded.

you two got out of bed as you went to your closet picking out something to wear “does this look good?” you said while looking at the mirror as your boyfriend came from behind you, his arms creeping up on your waist and his head on your shoulder “you look beautiful in anything.” he said pressing a kiss on your cheek “you always say that” you giggled “cause its true!” your boyfriend added.

your boyfriend was driving to the place you wanted to go while you rolled down the car window feeling the fresh air touch your skin as the song hypnotized by minh played on the car radio.

you two arrived at the destination. “Sanrio world” written on the shop sign as it lit up in pink, everything about the shop screamed in pink, you adored it and loved every single part of it. you entered the shop looking at all the plushies as your boyfriend went after you “they’re all so cute” you said, you took a while looking around the shop finding various items but you put them all back since you already had them. but one item catched your eye which was a my melody plushie with a black bow on its left ear and had a cute pink dress on it. you loved every single part of it “you want that one angel?” your boyfriend asked, you almost said yes until you looked at the price 200 fucking dollars!?!? “its expensive though” you pouted putting it back on its shelf

“how bout you wait in the car hm baby?” yeonjun looked at you “why though?” you looked back at him confused “just trust me princess” he responded, you didnt question anymore and just gave in going back to the car waiting for him in the passenger seat.

yeonjun took a look around the shop if there were any cctvs as he only saw one at the entrance and one at the cashier, he quickly grabbed the plushie and hid it in his jacket and ran out the door as the worker chased him. “sir you havent payed for that yet!!!” the worker shouted as he got in the car and drove away.

you saw him run out of the shop with the plushie you wanted in his hands. he ran towards the car and got in the drivers seat. you looked at him while you felt the car speeding up. he drove into a empty parking lot and parked the car.

“you stole it didnt you..” you looked at him with a frown on your face “c’mon baby, i couldnt resist looking at you pout infront of my face like that plus this thief did it for his very cute girlfriend who stared darts into a plushie she wanted.. aren't i a good boyfriend?" yeonjun stared at you with a grin on his face “you stole it though…” your brows were furrowed you felt upset with him. he sighed

"well, you're going to have to live with it, princess." he replied as you got out of the car walking away from it your arms crossed while tears were forming in your eyes.

he went after you seeing how upset you were about it, he approached you from behind hugging you close to him turning you around to face him “look angel im—“ before he could complete his sentence you pushed him away creating a little space inbetween you two “dont you know how fucking worried i got? what if you got caught what if they reported you what if they—“ yeonjun stopped you from speaking by kissing your lips making you shut up “Im sorry baby i wont do it again okay?” he apologized to you, his hands cupping your face and his thumbs wiping away your tears.

“I fucking hate you choi yeonjun” you responded “I know you dont princess.” he chuckled replying to your words “how about ill make it up to you when we get back home?” he grinned, you nodded while wiping the tears falling off your cheeks.
