i cant overly relate to those posts about making your fav characters the same race/nationality as you nowadays because my options are so limited with ultrakill. like okay if i hc sisyphus as native that would feel like erasure. cant hc gabriel as native because look at him. headcanoning v1 as native isnt great for a lot of reasons but uhmmm. let me have this

#had a horrible night last night but after talking on the phone with someone it made me realize i SHOULD take up on that persons offer to get #therapy. #i didnt want to because of how mental health places and even the ER's mental health staff treated me when i was. yknow. #pov it takes a relapse after 10+ years of not doing THAT and also crying and (metaphorically) throwing up hard as hell last night to make m #finally consider it. #i am technically seeing someone but shes a counselor and not a therapist and tbh i dont. super know the difference! #im. sorry for worrying everyone i try to not. show how Bad my mental health is but lately its been harder to. sorry. #personal #vent

you know what im not really sure why everyone just assumes v1 and v1 alone is canonically cruel or takes joy in what they do. at most you could argue its happy inflicting pain/sees what they do as a game because it wants to get better scores on the terminal... but then that would apply to ALL machines. thats literally why the cybergrind exists, machines want to be better than the others and get higher scores. all of them do that. its literally just running off its program like any other machine in hell. it just wants to survive.

#'wow v1 was so mean when it killed v2!' v2 attacked it first. cannot stress that enough #wow the machines that run off blood and kill each other over it tried to kill each other. clearly the one that won is the bad person and th #other machine is 100% pure of heart and wouldnt hurt a fly despite. attacking v1 first for its blood. yeah sure whatever. #sorry im being a fucking hater just ignore me
