no yeah i feel that with the drawing too! and yeah i think everyone is an artist as well and that its expressed in a lot of ways but people dont realise that its art because its not seen as art as such, you know? i think humans are all born artists and continue to always be artists but only those who do mediums like painting or as you said drawing are called/recognised as artists a lot of the time and i think its trying to make people understand you can be an artist while not being able to idk draw or anything right or like you where you could draw but you also did other art forms/mediums and could call yourself an artist from that too and i guess i really wish people who do yk other art forms could be more recognised as artists of their craft bc thats what they're doing

ohhh i see, like how much everything just cant be controlled? does thinking about that feel even more out of control or does it give you some sense of "well okay i can think about this"? also the thing about the bodies is like are they the same thing because they are technically both my flesh or something but at the same time its like well how much control do i have over either of those things because i cant control my body getting sick no more then i can control my mind in a way if that makes sense?(is this making sense or have i gone off topic?)

Those are all such comforting atmospheric songs! Clairo's music is always so soft and comforting, that song in particular is just so wonderful in the middle when it fades and then rises again, and Jeete hain chal is honestly one of the most beautiful songs, i love how it stays fairly gentle all through the song! <3

i've been okay thank you!! i've been thinking about how things are often art forms but we dont call them that because of how often the lines of art are guarded by people who insist that art is a brush to paint on a canvas but it is that but its also so much more then that and i'd even argue to art being in pretty much everything and how performance artists capture this and sort of blur those so closely guarded lines by saying that no i use myself as art and there are no rules to it and how they can portray so much meaning through that and how i love them

ahhh i see!! is there a specific part of it? or some figures and people that you love or hate? (i adore mary seacole, she was such an incredible woman) or an interesting niche fact about it?

yes actually!! ahh i read such a good book which i finished today and it was about this art critic as they travelled the world in-as they put it-a pursuit of art and artists, and i was just taken by this book because i learned about so many cool artists and their stories which i would have never heard about(and art is a big interest of mine which makes me very happy haha) and this author would sometimes go on these wild goose chases to see and experience art and learn the is history of these people and they interview these individuals about their art but it was also a conversation and they were all so incredible and talked with such grace i suppose, and its not like they were all the same because they each had their own lens of the world yk? and just hearing the way they experience the world and use art and the outlet that it is

something i learned about today was this thing called astrobiology and its basically the field(tiny field lol) of research for things in space that would fall under the umbrella of life(i guess?) so its got a lot of overlaps with biology and philosophy, examples of it include but arent limited to: the question of whether there is life/other organisms in the universe, testing things to see if they'd survive in space and how to maybe adapt things to, testing for life/organisms on other planets/moons, etc,etc

#the more you know i suppose #might try research this a bit more #this is what you get for being my mutual #gonna ask my brother if he's ever heard of it bc he's an astrophysicist #sam screams into the void
