where do you get the furby baby eyechips? i cant find any blank ones around- do you have any reccomendations?

I get them from ebay, but you could probably find them on sites like Etsy too. I use 12mm self adhesive resin cabochons for furby babies. I used to use 12mm glass dome cabochons, but found that the thickness stopped the furby’s eyelids from fully closing. I’m not sure if this is an issue with all of them or just the ones that I bought. I hope this helps 😊

I have a question about Tarot! Did you sew the horns into the fur, or glue them on? I wanted to do something similar but with either real or fake deer antler nubs, and a lot of people are saying gluing them = bad, but sewing = good and drilling them into the shell = better.

I sew them on because I’m worried I’ll ruin the furby with glue, and it also makes it easier to alter the position if necessary.

I glue a small piece fabric that blends in with the fur colour to the base of the horn (it’s best to use a fabric that isn’t likely to fray like fleece for example) and sew it into place, making sure to securely tie it off so it doesn’t come undone. I’m not sure if this method would work well for large/heavy horns, but for smaller/lightweight ones it seems to be holding up really well. I hope this helps!

All Hail the Furby Poster!

Hello everyone!!!

I made a drawing with all the original furbys, furby babies, and shelbys! I made this in the hopes to be printed out and used as a poster for my room. I think it would be silly however if people used it to check off the furbys they have collected! I understand some on here are unattainable, but I couldn’t just leave them out!:( they deserve recognition.

I hope you all like this!!! I tried really hard on it! Feel free to spread it around:) I might consider making it a print if it garners enough attention hehe! I’ve also thought about taking some of my favorites and turning them into stickers! Let me know if that’s of interest to anyone 🌟

Thanks! Most of the time I use Daler Rowney graduate acrylic paints, which are good quality and not overly expensive. Occasionally I use Winsor & Newton acrylics if I can’t get hold of the other brand, but they’re on the pricier side and I haven’t noticed a great difference in quality between the two brands.

I’m not sure if you can find these outside of the UK, but I imagine any kind of acrylic paint will work fine. Also thinning out the paint slightly with water helps it go on more smoothly 😊
