So I finally went back to my first bg3 which I abandoned due to being low level by act 3. Only to find that I had 3 COMPANIONS! 3!!!!

Astarion, Gale, and Lae’zel!

How the fuck did I lose so many. If I remember correctly in act 1 I killed Karlach for Wyll’s stupid quest.

Then in act 2 shadow heart left the party because I didn’t bring her along to the night song Balthazar fight.

Wyll got melted because I didn’t know where to find Zariel and I didn’t realize Halsin existed because I never finished to goblin camp/tiefling grove issue and I just walked away.

If I remember correctly minthara was actually in my party at some point in act 2 but I have no clue what happened to her?

Jesus Christ I am so embarrassed to admit this 👀

Baldur’s Gate 3 to me is very reminiscent of Fallout New Vegas. And I’ve heard Neil Newbon mention Fallout New Vegas during a stream, I don’t remember which one, but he said something along the lines of it being one of the greatest roleplay games and he loves the fallout series

But either way the whole structure of the game reminds me of the original 2 fallouts and New Vegas. The puzzles very much remind me of the original fallout which I’ve played through the main story.

Fallout New Vegas is one of my all time favorite games and Baldur’s Gate 3 is definitely up there with it because both games allow you a ton of choice and to just kill whoever the hell you want.
