Maybe I'm just delirious from illness but this post is actually still pissing me off so much.

The reason there's so many Palestinians on our lists right now is because they are literally recommending my blog to each other in Ghazzah. Because I've helped others and they think I can help them. There's a new wave of Palestinians from Ghazzah, surviving the genocide, joining the platform just to communicate to YOU guys to possibly save their lives and the lives of their family members.

These people aren't a boycott tactic. Saving their lives isn't a political pressure tactic like fucking BOYCOTTING. IT'S ABOUT SAVING THEIR FUCKING LIVES. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS. ARE YOU DEVALUING SAVING PALESTINIAN LIVES ON NAKBA DAY?!?!?!? ARE WE SERIOUSLY BEING TALKED ABOUT THIS WAY?

When the anti "LGBT propaganda" law passed in Russia, all of you were going insane and cared. Give Georgia the same energy. If you can have sympathy for our oppressors on the basis of them being queer, you should keep the same energy for us, if not more.

If this law passes, every Georgian queer person I know is so severely fucked, myself included. If you make jokes about "being illegal in several countries" you better fucking care about the countries you're apparently illegal in, or going to be illegal in.

Rightwingers want queer people arrested for so much as existing in the same postal code as a child and are also drumming up a moral panic about how teenage boys aren't getting laid enough. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

Today is Nakba commemoration day. Today 74 years ago, British and (now) Israeli troops invaded Palestine and massacred the residents of over 530 villages and towns and drove them out. On this day, please make the effort to inform yourself on the nature of this occupation, and settler-colonization.

Here is a 5 episode documentary describing the process of colonization from as early as 1799 to the actual Nakba in 1948 and its immediate aftermath (be sure to click on the read more to see the episodes). A number of Israeli, British, and Arab historians explain the formulation and development of the project to colonize Palestine by Western powers, and Palestinian refugees recount their experiences living under this. Fair trigger warning, there is extreme violence described as well as footage of bombings and concentration camps.

The Nakba isn't over, it never ended. It just takes a different shape and form now, and Israeli and Western propaganda has allowed it to take an inexcusable form with complete international impunity. Speak out, tell your friends and family, share with those you know care, convince those on the fence about it. Don't let Western misinformation continue to propagate in your circles. Learn the truth and decolonize your mindset.
