Holy Cross Church, Hattula (Finland)

I had wanted to visit this place for a long time and finally managed to do so :). The church is known for its medieval murals that served as decorations and also taught Christian doctrine to the churchgoers. The red brick church was built in the end of the 15th century and was the most important pilgrimage site of Tavastia. Murals are from the 1510s.
