my boss gave me the afternoon off (technically the whole day but i had to finish a project this morning). it was terrifying to be honest yesterday, that a friend passed, but he called me this morning and was very kind to me and gave me time off. i’ve got some fall cookies and caramel popcorn and i’m going to get cozy and watch some movies. i’m mostly just incredibly moved by people’s kindness this week. my art group and everyone making plans to visit our friend’s cemetery, my coworker cheering me up, my boss’s kindness, my therapist’s new office and how comfortable i feel because she made the space so cozy.

hoping i get an apartment soon. i fell completely in love with this bub ❤️ i’m still a few months out but nothing narrows my focus and boosts my hope quite like how much i want a cat. i love caring for animals and often look after other people’s and i’m so ready to have my own

i have one called tipped the kinsey scale where it’s songs that make me think about women and wlw and pushes the kinsey scale for me

i have another one called mentions birds- songs that mention birds. my favorite being mj lenderman’s lyrics “seed fell out of the feeder and the birds are eating on the ground.” i’m open to recommendations for this one. gimme your favorite bird songs

few things chill me out as much as looking at cats on petfinder and looking at cozy bedrooms on pinterest. i can’t wait to get my own place and to get a cat 💗 those two goals are so incredibly motivating. i can’t wait to have all my books and totoro collection stuff and cookbooks neatly on display 💗 i will make this happen and i can’t wait for it
