Scottie turned off her phone, grinning, and jumped off her bed. She pulled on one a jumper that was on the back of her desk chair. She laughed at herself when she realized it was one that Draco had lended her, that one time when they were down by the lake. Scottie kept a smile on her face as she snuck out of her dorm, careful not to wake Hermione and her other roommates up.

She crept down the stairs and of the common room, whispering a quite goodbye to the painting guarding the door. Then, she practically skipped towards the library. Walking in, she scanned the large room for the platinum blonde haired boy she learned to like.

Yet her heart broke at what she saw. Sitting there was Draco and Pansy Parkinson, with her arm around him. Pansy Parkinson, the one that Draco wanted nothing to do with. The one that Draco wanted to get away from. The reason why they even started this whole thing. The reason why Scottie felt her heart grow for Draco. Sitting there wrapped around Draco. Her heart shattered into pieces. Tears threatened to spill. Her lip trembling. Turning on her heel, she ran out the door. She saw all that see could. Yet what she didn’t see was Draco pushing Pansy off of him, and watching as Scottie slipped through the door.

After dinner at the great hall, Scottie was estactic. She was just wondering around the halls when she bumped into someone.

“oh sorry” She claimed as she brushed the hair from her face.

“Watch where you’re going” The mysterious voice spat. Scottie whipped her head up and started talking without even knowing who it was.

“First of all you stepped in my way, don’t know who you think you are talking to me like thaaa... oh” Scotties face was the color of the red on her gyrffindor robes.

“Yeah oh” The blonde boy said.

“Draco right? Look I know we kinda got off on the wrong start but I think if we start over we can become friends! I’m Scottie!” The short girl claimed with a grin.

“As if I would want to be friends with you” Draco snarled. Scottie rolled her eyes and made a grab for the phone in his hand. She turned her back to Draco, so he wouldn’t stop her and put her number in his phone.

“Here, so now we can become friends and i can teach you how to treat people decently” Scottie stated as she walked to the gyrffindor common room. Draco watched her as she stood by the door. Scottie, clearly uncomfortable with the blazing eyes on her, tried to remember the password.

“You’ve got to be kidding me” She mumbled, fumbling for her phone, while Draco walked away, not before shaking his head and letting out a small chuckle.

Part 1

After finding an empty compartment, Scottie plopped down onto the surprisingly comfortable seat. She took deep breathes trying to calm her nerves. After all she was going to hogwarts 3 years late. Her parents decided that it would be best to rent her a flat and send her off to a wizarding school in England , thus proving to be Hogwarts. Scottie never really had a relationship with her parents, it proved to be hard when they both were successful actors and gone for most of her childhood. So she made friends with the maids around the house. She was used to be only, seeing as that’s all she knew growing up. It also gave her time to look into the world of wizards and witches. Fascinated with it, she tried everything she could to get accepted into a Magic school. The best day of her life was when she get her letter.

She didn’t have time to think though, seeing as a boy, the same age as her popped into her compartment. Clearly upset someone was in there.

“Who are you?” He asked with a frown on his face.

“ Scottie Jones” She said reaching out her hand, “I just transferred from a school in the US” The boy looked at her hand and scoffed.

“And I don’t care, just make sure you stay out of my way.” And with that mysterious boy stalked out of the compartment. And before Scottie could even register what happened, a tall lanky boy came barreling in.

“Hello! that was Draco Malfoy by the way, he’s an arsehole that one. Thinks he’s so superior because he’s a slytherin pure blood. The only thing good about him are his looks if you ask me. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. The names Levi Kove” the now identified boy claimed as he stuck his hand out.

“Scottie Jones” She said as she smiled reaching out to shake the boys hand. “He was quite the looker, sucks that he was such a jerk.” Levi nodded his head looking at Scottie with curiosity.

“You don’t know what house your in, do you?” He questioned.

“House?” Scottie replied, now her full attention on him.

“It’s basically where you’re placed based on who you are. The sorting hat determines it in first year. But i guess he’ll do it for you this year. I’m a gryfindor, the same as the golden trio”

“Golden trio?” Scottie asked. Levi’s eyes widened in shock and he practically jumped into talking.

“I don’t understand you! Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and the boy who lived and defeated he who must not be named! Harry Potter! But if you ask me, they’re pretty overrated. Just don’t tell anyone I said that!”

“Your secrets safe with me, but who’s he who must not be named?” Scottie asked. Levi looked at her with a, ‘are you serious look’.

“The dark lord Scottie”

“Voldemort?” She questioned. Levi leaped across the table, covering her mouth with his hand.

“Are you actually mental?!” He exclaimed, “what in merlins name do you think you’re doing saying his name. number one rule, you don’t do it”

“Sorry, I didn’t know! I mean what’s so bad about the guy” Scottie said looking down.

“We have some serious talking to do, i’ll tell you about it later, but we have arrived.” Levi pointed out the window. Scottie followed his gaze and her jaw dropped in amazement. There stood the famous Hogwarts castle. The beautiful green forest surrounding it. She jumped closer to the window, smooshing her face to it, in order to get closer.

“It’s beautiful” She whispered.

“We’ll come on let’s go” Levi grabbed her hand and collected their things and walked to the entrance.
