Once Youre Mine by Morgan Bridges
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What to say? This book was just amazig. I know what i was getting into and the book delivered. Its giving YOU vibes season 2 but the mc isnt a murderer and accepts the stalker untill she realises its a stalker. (view spoiler)
Esentially the book starts w our main Vilain Hayden who is observing the funeral of his last victim. His interest is picked upby non other than the victims daughter - my issue w her is her name i cant remember it even tho i read it the whole day how many times- who doesnt realised for a while that shes stalked till Hayden wants to be known which is when he takes her perl necklace and starts giving her back 1 per per cum that he ejaculates - obv because of her. So here we are stuck in a wall or as a fly following these two as they operate there lives and seeing how they intertwine. Honestly its amazing to me to what legth Hayden goes to stalk this woman. He influanced so much of her life- he made sure she got the job that was close enough for her and his job place, made sure her p.i. leaves her alone, gets the info the p.i colected just to find out her already staked her so much that he already knew everything the p.i. knew EXCEPT 1 picture. Corse we findout with time what it is. He makes sure she doesnt get an extra job , going so far as burning the place down. He manages to enter her life so much that she ends up living with him. The stalker part is as creapy as its interesting. He does the cliche thing of stealing hr used panties and sniffing them , using them to rub them against his dick giving us the line - The panties smell like her wet cunt. Its giving what you would expect froma book thats about stalking and im sooo looking forward to the secpnd book that to my luck is comming out in about a week.

Things we never got over -⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's really gold. I loved it, but after reading some comments, I realized that the book really has some bih flaws, so icant to give it 5 stars, but 4 will do. Btw I loved the sex scenes. - GOODREADS
Esentialy the book was good and i did like it but i is very misogynistic and gives of asshole vibes. I didnt realise that the book is so much dipped into misoginy till i went trough the comments on GR. That really gave me an ick so i took 1 star away.

Behind the net - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Oh wow this book was really good like my God. Big recomend. The sex scenes were really hot. I know its a hockey romance but i found it recomended as a smut book and trust me it delivered. NGL i was really surprised when they had a scene where he while he was eating her out started playing with her ass and then led up to her butthole and asked her if her ex ever did this, she said no and then he asked her if he could do it and her going PLEASE. Digga was?! I was genuenly like no way were getting anal at the end of the book, but no we didnt he just played a bit with the nerves and she came for like the 3rd time that day. What to say folks, what to say. Anyway im looking forward to reading the orher books, solid 10/10. I ahv nothuing to complai about, i was getting to the end of the book and i knew sooner or later there needed to be some kind of twist that would make them break up and then get back toether but surprise surprise - nothing. Which btw was very refreshing! Every time i read a book theres somekind of scene where something lifechanging happens that the lovebirds have to break up or go on a break but here , nope all is good, theyre a strong good couple and no issues or problems between them. Really refreshing. - GR

The Cock on the block - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book was just amazing i mean from the story to the characters. Ive really enyojed this one. Its a friends to lovers , he falls first, football, fake daring romance and its just wowza. The sexscenes were bomb. The representation of big girls deserve love too was good, not great, at times i found it a bit cringey but it didnt stop me from rating it 5/5. The titrl had me laughing and i didnt think it was going to be better that just that but honestly the book is a must read.

She was made for me - ⭐
God was this bad. I picked this book up cause 1. It was on kindle unlimited so I didn't have to pay for it, 2. The description of the book was intriguing, not the title ( the title is misogynistic and something coming from wattpad) , age gap, fathers friend . I really thought and was hopping that the book would end with them going separate ways but no NO ! FFS THEY SATH TOGETHER IN THIS DISGUSTING RELATIONSHIPS! HE COULD BE HER FATHER. 20 YEARS AGE GAP. I thought it was gonna be like 10 at most cause her dad is a lawyer so maybe a lawyer friend , I was right and wrong , ex lawyer friend and gap 20 years. Ugh. The amounts of times I've gagged while reading this , the word sweetheart has officially landed on my black list and my husband isn't alowed to call me that till I forget this book exists. 🙃 Just some quotes that had me gagg are : -You take me so well. -You were made for me . -How can I become a good girl again. -Sweetheart -Best friends daughter -my seed driving down her thighs -she's clenching her thighs so my seed doesn't dripp out - (puts a finger in her ass ) you like that I swear all of these are 100x worse when the fact that he's 20 years older than her hits your head. How disgusting can it be. And the fact that he's convinced that it wasn't him who initiated all this but actually she forced him to have sex with her is delulu to its fullest. How delulu can you be to even think you resisted her but she kept pushing and you had to fuck her. All she did was go on a date with a guy and said she's go on a second one as well and you deciding no you won't and I won't let you and then fucking her ... not her fault. Yes she did want it but talk about DADY ISSUES MUCH . You can't tell me that in the 43 years that you've been alive you never heard of Daddy issues, you could have smelled them a mile away , even if she had been 30 when u met and thought she's 30 and not 24 , that woman would still have daddy issues . How delulu can one be. And her being desperate for that dick is comical, first man who shows interest in you in a long time and you jump on that train like there's no other connection. The only person with a smudge of a brain cell was her dad when he put 2 and 2 together , cursed Kyle out saying she's my baby girl, she's 20 years younger than you , how could you , etc. I swear the yurika I felt when I read that was HUGE, cause finally someone in this God damn book is saying that it's disgusting 🫣 and awful to be hearing that your best friend of so many years has fucked your daughter in the house that you own while he was on the job that you gave him. And all that goes for nothing cause the dad losses his final brain cell as well and 1 month later is ok with everything and even APOLOGISED to the man who fucked your daughter because it wasn't right. I swear all of the ppl in this book are extremely delulu. All of em. I swear I'm never picking up a book writen by who ever wrote this , I don't even wanna know what person could have written this and went yeah that's good , I'm proud of it. You're glorifying misogyny with all these , she's mine , she'll be mine , my seed driving down her thigh , DISGUSTING, not to mention relationships where the power dynamic is WAY OFF. Yeah a 25 yo is mature enough to be w a 43 yo, Def no power imbalance there , she's her own woman and can make decisions for herself, how mental can you be ?!?!?!?!?!? - GR
Only thing i can add to this is that i cant believe that this book has a rating of 4,16 on goodreads (4,19 before i gave it a 1/5). The coments were all positive, only 1 negative. I mean great for the author but eww. It really is a mess of a book and i feel if it stays i its designated demografic its gonna continue to thrive and shine but if it blows up it deff wont be because it so good, its deff gonna be because of the problematic toppics and in general everything.

The Short Life of Bree Tanor - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book just held me by my troath and didnt let go till the end. What do i say about a book where i knew that the mc was gonna die at the end. The book is read as a whole stry, no chaptors no nothing. Its very real, belivable , just really sucks you back into the twilight universe and as mentiond at the beginning it grabs you by the troatha and doesnt let go. The story was just amazing and emotional and raw, real and pure. We get to experiance what bree felt in those last few weeks of her life, explaining how she came to be, what got her there and how she managed to survive in a pack of newborns that only had the instinkt to kill. The very short , hopefull romace between Bree and Diego that def had a future but lasted roughly a few days was heartbreaking. I really hoped that diego didnt die and that he was actually still on the mission of spying on the cullens but as we get to find out , its a lie and diego died a painfull death . The last moments of brees life were intense and just torture, and once her death came it gave her what she so desperatly needed -PEACE.

Shess baaaaackkk
Now i know ive been away for like forever. But with a good reason. Ive been trying to read. Did it work? No. Im still way behind on my reading. Which eventually gave me anxiety and ive decided to take a step back and look at the situation. Why am i panicking? Cause i have a set goal of 60 books this year and im not even close to finishing it. Who made the decision of 60 books? Me. Can the decision be changed ? Yes. So the reason for my anxiety is ? Me. Can the problem be solved ? Yes.
So i changed my goal from 60 to 30. And so far i have read 26 books. A few of them are not on my tbr because ive gotten interesten in Kindle a few weeks back, so ive gotten the app on my phone and talet and laptop. Wit kindle i needed about 4 days to read 1 book and thats not even me activly sitting down to read but more of ok i have nothing to do lets read.
Yesterday it was my birthday and my motherinlaw got me a Kindle Paperwhite gen.11 and its been such an amazing little thing . I know ive only had it for 1 day now but i low key love it. I see the apeal of the Kindle as a devise on its own.
The App is actually realy great, ive had an issue at the beginning because i thought kindle had books to read without a subscription but i was wrong. I found a sale on 5 euro for 2 months of Kindle and decided that that is a steal. Especialy if it helps me with reading. And honestly decision not regreted. So much so that im ok w paying the subscription in its fullest 9.99. Cheeper that any book i might buy and dont get me started that a digital coppy of a book is cheeper anyway even if i was to buy books on the kindle. Another thing is the kindle unlimited books. There are so many books that i wanted to buy but they are free with the kindle unlimited subscription. Money saved and i love it. Or lets do girl math. A normal monthly kindle subscription is 9.99, lets make that easyer and say its 10. On awarage books that i buy come around 10.50 so im already there sawing 0.50 cents. Now if i need 4 days per book thats about 8 books a month , those 8 books would have cost me 84 books a month , 10 bucks devide by 8 is 1,25 a book which is a steal on its own.
Point is im not stressing about reading anymore next rent is gonna be about the books i read since i last posted byyyyeeeeee

Things we never got over
I must say that i was wrong about this one. Its not hes a sunshine and shes the grumpy one, its the other way around. Still I love it. Tho 200 pages in and they just now kissed and it was kinda antyclimaktic. Like it made more sence for them to kiss when the scene in the pocker room hapaned , he was pinning her against the door and telling her how dangerous the players are, and then his damn phone had to ring and ruin it, he should have just ignored it and kissed her since she herself said "you wont kiss me " implying that she thought he was going to. And then sending her to flirt with his brother so he would be jellous , now even more since they kissed... aghhhhhhh

Things We Got Over
Where do I begin. I've only read 11 pages and I'm already excited about this one. Yes yes I've started reading so soon after the last one, but the last one left me wanting. Finding Jupiter was cute, Def writen for teenagers and not 20something year-olds who crave adult relationships and smut. This tho ... it really looks like it has mega potential to wreck my life.
So I looked up on pinterest to see if there is any fanart about Naomi and Knox (btw what kind of name is Knox ??? ) but there were none, only collages of what the readers thought they looked like and there aesthetic in the background.
Im not angry just a bit scared cause I'm afraid this might be the type of book that Colene Hoover writes ( IM PRAYING IT ISN'T) and it's making me uneasy. But we shal see. It's deff giving sunshine x grumpy vibes, girl is grumpy tho and the boy is a bear - scary looking but in reality supper soft ( yaaaaaaayyy me and my husband have that dynamic going on ) so I'm looking forward to enjoying this book.

My Fault by Mercedes Ron
My rating: 4 of 5 stars Where do I begin… This book was so much yet so little … -comparing it to the movie - I really thought it was gonna be the typical book>movie, but in reality its book -Now the book on its own. - Wow. Wow, wow, wow… What a shitshow. I must say its been a while since ive read a book that took itself so seriously, going over very serious topics and managing to give me the most wattpad like story. It really helped me that ive seen the movie before reading the book because that way i coould immagine the characters, since the only description of Noah and Nick are - good looking, hot, eye color and hair. I swear Noah has been described as Honey color eyes and long blond hair more times that ive put the book down and trust me theres been a lot. The cheesy scenes were just bad, i thought the movie overdid it , but it actually townd it down. The fact that they didnt follow the book to the tee really saved them a lot of embaracment. So many unececery will they wont they scenes, so many jelous scenes and not to mention the were hiding that were together yet let everyone see us scenes .. really, that was nececery? The writing in the first half of the book really had me, it was good, the flow of the story was good and i could see where it was going and i was down with it, but then the second half happaned and …. Let me explain. FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK We get to follow both characters as they are going trough a new unusual chapter in there life. Noah is a 17yo girl who is leaving her identity behind ( as it is for every teenager - friends, home, relationship if there is one) because her mother remaried a ritch guy. BTW ID RATHER READ RAHELAS AND WILL STORY THAN THIS. For Nick its welcoming 2 strangers into his life which are there to stay for more than he is compfortable with, a stepmom and stepsister. Hes not so excited about this since hes been having a secret life behind his fathers back and now keeping it behind 3 is gonna make it dificult sooner or later. So we get to see how these 2 worlds crash together, a very enemies to lovers kind of tale. Noach keeps entering Nicks world without really wanting to but more going with the flow as she is trying to fit in the new world that she has found herself in, and Nick slowly getting to see that there is more to Noah and her mom than just trying to find a fast cashgrab and dipp before its too late. Its really fun to see them fight because as sai its 2 worlds mixing , meaning 2 perspectives mixing and kindoff getting to see the same pov. It gives off Pride and Prejudice 2005 vibes . So on paper something very interesting, enjoyable and quite fun to read. The second part I consider the second half of the book to begin once the 2 have had sex because after that they have stated that they are in a relationship. Once these 2 have had sex its like both there brains have turned into mush. They both are sudenly accting like 12 yo who just cant keep this very secret thing from anyone even tho they are both well in the age to act mature, at least Nick is, i get Noah being this jellous little girl who gets these tantrums and wants to jump Nick, i dont get Nick a 22 yo who has had plenty relations with girls, to act all jelous and like a little kid who cant play with his favoure toy anymore ( his dick) because his mom grounded him ( the vagina he wants to fuck belongs to his stepsister) and thats enough reason to lash out and hit everyone and enything. Its giving very much Lege of Legend player wibes who hit the wall. Now to justify the rating - 4/5- i know ive complained quite a lot about the book but honestly ive enjoyed it, yes ive roled my eyes and tossed the book away and complained about it , and still it was fun to read and fantasize about the world of Nicholas and his father Will. Goodreads is hunting my ass
How is one supposed to reach there reading goals when good reads keeps reminding me that im now officially 19 books behind my scedule. HOW?! Look. Yes im taking my time with reading culpa mia and the 2 past days of my vacation i have not read one single page but still. How is one supposed to focus on reading when life is happaning around them? And by that i mean i have tee. No i cant share it its personal and it just happens that it pushed me into a full 24 hour desosiation, aparently i was trigered. Isnt that fun?
anyway. Back to reading. Today is the day i finish the last 150 pages of culpa mia and go down to 18 books behind scedule, God help.

Fuck this shit - The stolen Heir / LOVE LOVE LOVE CULPA MIA
Ive kind of had it reading 50 pages every day so I would get this book done. Yesterday as I couldnt find it I picked up Culpa Mia- My Fault by Mercedes Ron. Ive seen the movie , yes it was recomended by tiktok , and I apsolutely loved it . So much so i ordered the book and cant wait for the next 2 to come. Anyway, ive read more of this book in the last 12 hours than I have of The stolen Heir in 72. So yes, im taking a break and am switching , AGAIN, books and now am def gonna finish Culpa Mia.
Now lets talk about culpa mia. How amazing is this book. The writing is so smooth. Like I am aware that the book is translated to English from Spanish and yet i am loving these words. The translation is not perfect and theres quite a few gramar mistakes but who cares. The author made me care for the characters. The movie Noah and Nick are ok , kind of cringey , but the book Noah and Nick are sooooo juicy. I love that we get to see Nicks perspektiv as well. The thing that really bothered me about the movie was the cringey scenes or just what they were saying. The book def comes across less cringey and deff more serious.

Update on the Stolen Heir book. I'm 100+ pages in, and I'm still confused about how this book got published. The amount of things that happen on one page amazes me. The characters are jumping from one place to another, and all that is said that could explain that is that they are on horses with them still doesn't justify it. One moment they're in the woods then in the layer again in the woods then they're attacked and all is well , wait no someone got shot , wait nvm he's heald cause it just happens the girl they rescued knows a spell to heal him ( which I got to know pages later where they mentioned it , I legit didn't read about it, wtf). Then they're in a tower, I think , wisiting a royal who needs to allow them to go wisit some witch. And now that everything calmed down and they're talking normally like actually having conversations and not just a few words, I'm starting to catch on. It feels like these 100 pages could have been a book on its own had there just been time to write it. Everything seems rushed and cramed so we could get to a point where the story could be told normally. I'm really surprised at this because the previous series was really written well. Like the books really took there sweet ass time to get to a point and the world building was amazing. It might be that Holly was relying on the readers to create the world since most ppl are gonna come to this series after reading the previous one. Which just makes it look like she was lazy to actually put in effort into this book. Like yeah Elfhema is still the same but were looking at it trough the eyes of different characters. I think she had the idea of what her next 2 books were gonna be a long time ago and now that she's come to actually writing them she's skipping over the basically steps to get to the part that she wanted to write about for so long. Esther that or she was denied by her publisher and team to have another 3ogy and instead only have a duology or or or she signed on it being a duology but when she realized she had too much and needed more she was denied cause contract is contract. Idk man, all I know is if it has to take me 100 pages for the book to calm down and make sence , then I'm alowed to be pissed.

The Stolen Heir (not as good as The Folk of the Air)
My God is the first 50 pages boring , but the writing is good so its not an issue to read. The book has 356 pages so in theory this should be a fast read. The main characters name ive already forgoten , I just checken online its Suren. My God, what a name. Wanna know what bothers me. Its the whole series before this one being all about how everything is being done so Oak can get on the throne, and the series when hes actually of age to be on the throne we follow a different character... I honestly dont want Oak on the throne at all. Like Jude and Caedan are like bread and butter to me. The story of those 2 I ate up like nothing. All 3 books read in 8th days. And now here I am renurning to the world of Elfhame and Jude and Cardan are no where to be sean. I know that Holly said that wed find out what happaned to those 2 in the next book but come on. Jude and Cardan are such a power couple . The story was just top noch and for her to let go of it and go with something else within the same world seams like cheating to me. By that i mean that im cheatig. I refused to read this book because i refused to believe that Jude and Cardans story ended. And now here i am trying to read this book about a monster child whose name i cant remember, dont get me started on the nickname Wen , cause Suren , Ren, Wen ...

The first book that I originally wanted to start off with here was The Guinevere Deception, but I've decided against it. I've started reading it a few days ago. Better said tried , but I just couldn't really focus on it, so instead, I'm going with something that I know will be my tempo. The Stolen Heir by Holly Black. I've loved her previous books, devoured the Folk of Air trilogy, and read how the king of Elfhema learned to hate stories. Now I legit could spend a whole post dedicated to just writing about those 3 books, but for now, I won't.
So let's see , the book I'm starting off with will be that one. The Stole Heir

Introductions
I guess this is how it starts. Im wathing Only Murders in the Building and debating weather to start a blog or not. Id much rather start a youtube acc and film myself talking about all of this but somehow i find writing to be more apealing. So as i googled how do i start my own blog and so on, all i got was the bullshit sponsored sites saying i needed to invest and what not. I as well thought about starting a pocast, I know, how original. I tought i could read books on it, one chapter at a time, but i read that copyright would come for my ass, so rather not.
Thats why im here, to explore this idea of having a blog and sharing my thoughts, even tho im God knows how many years late to Tumblr..
Hi, my name is Anna and i have a goal that im starting to think I wont reach. To read 61 books this year. Im thinking I wont reach it because ive only read 19 so far. And the goodreads app saying i need to read 2 books a week to reach my goal seams as a bit of a treath to me . But non the less i wanna try, and to motivate myself im gonna blog about it. To somewhat keep myself on track.
Thats all for now.
