Things I like about myself... hm. (It's honestly hard to think of any in my current state of mind LMAO)

I like talking about random things I've learnt to others and sharing knowledge

I think he would have but he would have been very moderate about it. I’d describe his style as more of an echo of the original rather than a genuine effort to reproduce it.

That’s because I like to think he lives a dual life most of the time - he wants to look respectful for his government job (whatever that is at the time) and in front of his older colleagues because he’s essentially someone who cares a lot about what people think of him. As a result he doesn’t do anything drastic with his hair, like shaving or dyeing it because that’s not something his super healing can take care of overnight.

Piercings and tattoos are safer territory.

But he’s generally pretty conservative about his appearance, partly because he’s not interested in (or very good at) putting together more elaborate outfits and partly because he never really fully commits to any particular aesthetic as his interests are all over the place.

To go back to your question, I think he wore skinhead fashion (the suspenders, jeans, boots and shirt combo + a Crombie or Harrington jacket) back when the movement was the opposite of racist and wasn’t associated with more unsavory groups. Eventually the way the skinhead community changed pushed him away from it but he probably still has some more mainstream punk-ish outfits in his wardrobe.

Studded jackets, piercings, dark colors, ripped jeans and combat boots (which are not combat boots but jump boots but I bet he’s tired of correcting people at this point lol). That’s it. It’s the bare minimum he needs in order to not stand out too much at concerts or bars.

But it gets the message across and that’s what matters to him.

Okay, I think i have it now and i appreciate it.

he has three elephants, two peacocks, two dogs, and a monkey that he didn’t even choose- it just won’t leave him alone.

he dyes his grey hairs black!

in the gakuen hetalia AU he’d definitely be in the gourmet club.

he’s super good at math and engineering but he can’t use social media to save his life. he sends his younger siblings whatsapp memes and they hate it.

he once tried to teach arthur how to cook during colonial days... which ended in his house almost burning down.

to other former british colonies (especially younger ones), he’s almost like a father figure :) they really get along because of shared experiences, and they tend to flock to him because he was the oldest one out of all of them.
